i wanna try to use mineral makeups (not sure if I'll like it - but I'll give it a try). Anyways, I can't order on the internet because I don't have a credit card, so I want to know if there are any mineral makeups being sold in stores (sephora, maybe?).

and for those who have used any kind/brand of mineral makeups, do you like it? and how much was it?

I have lots of redmarks AND very oily skin eusa_doh.gif

I NEED HELP!!!!!!!

Hi,
Sephora (the one at eaton center) has Bare Minerals for sale. But I don't know how much it is and I've never tried it.
So you can try there first.

I would imagine it would be super expensive from a store confused.gif

Could you ask someone that has a credit card? The everydayminerals.com stuff is great and only costs $5 for a bunch of samples that will last you weeks.... you can even pay by paypal, which can come right from your bank account instead of a credit card!

@ Sephora - Bare Escentuals (it's pretty expensive though but it has great coverage)
- $25 us
for something that's cheap - Physicians Formula - Mineral Wear @ wal-mart/drugstores (this has good coverage also but the brush really sucks.. so invest on a good brush [preferably a kabuki one] XP)
- $13 us $15 can

I have tried both(I bought bare escentuals when i went to cali && I tried physicians formula @ a friends house) but as of now i dont wear any make-up even though i still have a weee bit of scars & pimples every now and then... but it's good to just let your skin breathe (= If i had to pick I'd try out the cheap one first they both work the same anyways, but it's up to you.

shoot, i gots oily skin too... actually my skin alternates, it's either dry/flaky or really oily =/ that's another good reason to not wear makeup too often cuz it'll clog your pores. but just wear sunscreen & some sort of primer before putting your makeup & maybe get some blotting papers (but their soo freakishly tiny and for their size alone... it's not worth it..) for me i blot my face with brown unbleached napkins (after reading an issue of ALLURE)

oh and don't fret about your oily skin... i heard that oily skinned ppl age slower!

^____________^

Make sure one of the samples you get is the new Intensive formula- which is supposed to offer excellent coverage! biggrin.gif

Hey

I havent heard about everyday minerals, but neutrogena makes a mineral wear foundation or something like that, available at shoppers drug mart.

Sephora in Eaton centre and Square One both carry Bare Minerals, and they have a starter kit there too, with all the brushes for about $80 CAD.

Also, I saw an infomercial for a product called sheer cover which was also supposed to be mineral makeup. Go to www.sheercover.com for details.

Going to Sephora looks quite expensive. If you dont have a credit card, a cheaper option would be to buy Physician formula (probably shoppers has it).
