My goal is to stimulate collagen growth so that I don't have to undergo Fraxel*. [*My bestfriend, sisters and mom are all totally against me undergoing Fraxel -- they all say I don't need it.) My scarring is mild. I just have 2 rolling scars (got them this year), 2 boxcar scars (got them a few years back), and one old icepick scar (got it 17 years ago). I'm guessing I should eat high-protein food (milk, beef etc.) and food rich in Vitamin C (tropical fruits, etc.) I've been eating more than I would normally eat to ensure that I am not deficient in any of the nutrients my body needs for collagen production.
Please advice me - I really need help!

How long have you had the scars? Regardless of what you eat, your body will not produce new collagen unless there is an injury to heal. Unless the scars are relatively new and still in the healing process, you'll need to undergo some sort of revision procedure to stimulate collagen growth specifically where you have scarring. Diet will only give your body the capacity to produce the collagen, but it won't do so if it doesn't need it.
