well. i had 3 not so noticable, dying papule/cysts and got mad at them and needled them. now the right side of my brow looks like the elephant woman. MSM, BP and ice are healing the monstrosity. Not sure what happened. I haven't been picking lately so stuff's been a lot more manageable and break outs have been no more different than the average Joe.
in the last week i've developed a bed of deep acne on the top of my brow and across. previosuly it was my left check. i can't understand how it hits one spot then goes dormant than moves to another. my only conclusion for this latest breakout is that i was getting wreckless with my strict diet and got a greasy chicken with potatoes and buttered bread.... although that really isnt what gets me. chicken is fine. potatoes i have to be careful with.... but that's what it coincides with....
it could have also been the pastry i ate... i havent had that much sugar in a while.... hmm
it probably has a lot to do with that meal.

anyone have any insight to spiro dosage question yet?

Where I'm at:
The new and sad emergence of shitty cysts coincides with the birth control pill change that happened in February. It's coming to the end of March and my cysts are like what they were when I was on Orhto-lo. Just vile things.
For four months I was getting free Yasmin. mmm free. During that time I was a charming pretty skinned girl. The free Yasmin ran out and my doc said, try Yaz, which is like the lower hormone pill version of Yasmin. Well... it's apparent that the Yaz is a #$%!. I'm throwing the other 7 packs that were given to me, out. Va-ma-noose suckers.
So I have to decide...
-Do I want more Yasmin?
-Do I want more Spiro?
-Is there another BC that's got a great acne control record?
-Should I say ef' it and get an IUD and take hormonal therapy?
-Do I need tane (NOT YET!)
My regime hasn't changed much beyond the pill situation.
Morning:
I use water and Kinerase gentle wash or DDF Glycolic Wash in the morning.
Followed by Kinerase Clear Skin Serum. I let that dry.
Then I put on Kinerase SPF 30 Lotion. Let that soak in.
Then I put some eye rescue crap under my eyes.
Once everything is all soaked in, I use Bare Essecentuals makeup. Love it.
Evening:
Throughout the day I dab my oil up with either toilet paper or the oil papers, it really doesnt matter. The oil papers are nice to have, but they're more of a gimmick than anything. TP is fine.
Night:
At night I wash with water and Kinerase gentle wash or DDF Glycolic Wash.
If theres a lump I use my Lumiport Pen on it.
Then dab some of Paula's choice blemish dissolver on it.
I put some eye rescue crap under my eyes again.
For the stubborn asshole cysts/papules...
I need to learn patience and stop pinning them.
It's scarring me. I need to figure out who does cheapy cortizone shots since I am uninsured.
Sometimes I'll pin it a little and rub cayenne pepper in it. If it's no where near my eyes.
Then I'll rub other crap in it like Vit C Powder, Salicylic Acid, ACV, BP and my pen of course.
Ultimately is just scabs then and goes away. But I hate walking around with scabs on my face.
I'm actually getting better at not grabbing the needle. The last three weeks all my cysts came to head just using the pen and ice. When the course runs like that, I have no issues with scab face. I can cover the little bumps with my makeup just fine and they go away in the week.
But I had three recently that just would not go away. I pinned them and of course it's like week two and they're still crappy little scabs. And then of course pinning them led to more impatience and with two more new lumps under the skin, I pinned them too... gah!
I just need to get off this pill.

Just want to keep my log up to date.
I'm getting good at keeping acne down lately. Especially with not picking because picking and not just picking but actually getting all up in the mirror to squeeze stuff that isn't even there, makes my skin angry. Duh!
I have been FINE since like mid April. Then I ate pizza... a lot of it and got two nodules.
I let them be. Actually icing them etc ... and they subsided... except for one that really got to me after the 2nd week of it half way going away but still being there...
And Hell Breaks Loose -
So I had one half way there and another smaaaaall one that just had appeared. Then I picked at area's on my nose for no reason and THAT triggered a new massive vesuvius.
I was going to let it be but after considering the one on my forehead that's been there for two-weeks and a small small tiny one on the top of my forehead (not even noticable) that's been there... I thought to myself ...
"well i can just sit here with 3 nodules on my head take their sweet time to heal... or i can cap their asses with a needle and let them scab over in half the time."
so yea. you bet i pinned the crap out of them and now i'm a freaky looking scab face again.
god i tried!!!! next time i can wait them out... heh.

OK fellow Acne fighters ...
I have been clear for 5 months! I've figured out the balance that keeps me clear and it's a combo of foods to look out for, product to not overuse, and what to do when I see something potentially developing.
1. I am weary of sugar and testosterone containing foods. I only eat organic sugar and organic meat.
Why organic sugar?
Because refined sugar goes through a chemical process that wreaks havoc on your bodies digestive system.
Why organic meats?
Because farmers who are in it for the $$$ and not the welfare of the beings inject their livestock with testosterone boosters (among others) and the animals live in fear which means the meat is saturated in adrenalin. Grass fed and organic animals are a cleaner meat to consume.
**BUT consider that meat in general, especially red meats, are pretty tough for any digestive system to take on. So a rule of thumb is to avoid red meats often.
One other thing to avoid as far as testosterone boosters go is milk. For the same reasons above and the fact that humans were never meant to drink cow milk.
2. Product overuse:
I wash with water guys. Serious. I ran out of the last $$$ bottle of Kinerase face wash a month ago and have been splashing my face a few times with water in the morning and at night. IF I have too much makeup on, I will wash it off with either a cream lotion or some gentle cleanser... although I really like the Kinerase face wash and will purchase some more because even though I was with water I do like to cleanse with a mild facial soap every once in a while. Kinerase is the best.
3. Probable eruptions:
ICE. I have two ice packs in the fridge and when I see some asshole pimple charging my face I'll ice that bastard a good 5 - 10 minutes which results in it's shriveling and retreating within a day to two days.
That's it. I am also on Spiro based birth control ... It may be helping but I can't say that I am 100% on that since I had obnoxious breakouts while on the pill.
Lastly - I don't pick. DO NOT pick.
So as of 5 months my face is clear and I am glad.

Still Clear!!!!
My friend's friend tried to get me to buy a crap load of Arbonne off of her and I was like, why?
My skins never looked this great! I don't do product. Learned my lesson.
New favorite mask is goats milk. I bought powdered goats milk and use it when I have redness and irritation and it calms it right down.
Happy with my skin is me.
I conquered my adult acne!

Wow I doubt my answering this two-year's later even matters now. Geeze I must not have had this account sent to email me with replies.
ACV in General::: .... burns/dries/defuses the cyst. But that's depending on the way you use it too.
You might just be using it for an astringent rather than a direct cyst treatment. I don't see any benefit in using it as an astringent honestly though. ACV is not really great for your skin so if you're not applying it to your cysts to turn them into instant scabs... I'd leave it alone. That's how I feel about that stuff. You might have another opinion on it. In my opinion, if you want a helpful potent astringent use 1 cup of water and 4 drops of tea tree oil and you've got a very decent cleanser.
Redness::: It does not remove redness, in fact, it creates more redness as it basically burns the top skin layer since it is a alkaline. But this also depends on the strength of ACV that helps you. Some people might see results with a half/half dilution of water and ACV. I think I used to do close to full strength.
Where to Buy::: Just Apple Cider Vinegar. I found it in the store. I don't think regular vinegar would do it. I tried and it's meh. I bought my ACV at the Whole Foods down the street but I think you can get it at your local grocery as well.
Hope that helps... er at least - i hope you've already figured it out and are on a good regime.

V's Regime WORKS!
------------------------
Well it's been at least 2 full years, if not a whole 3 and I've figured out my acne.
I am clear .... until I want to be acne riddled, which is never, but if you tempt me with a juicy steak...
WHY DOES IT WORK?
--------------------------
I am usually clear unless I eat anything with rBST. If i eat rBST laced food, then I'm cyst face city.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bovine_somatotropin
In simpleman's terms - rBST is a testosterone growth steroid, or as the Meat Lobby would have you think - a mild hormone
injected into cattle to help them along in the unnatural process of generating more milk and meat than they ought naturally.
rBST is poison to cattle and to us humans.
Really think about it too - Ask your self this question, *** "Why do athletes who dope up have terrible cystic acne?"
It's the testosterone.
So why would it be any different if you ate a cow that ate a testosterone steroid?
THE BOTTOM LINE
----------------------
The bottom line is my acne is food related. And I wouldn't be shocked if a million other's are food related too.
^^^ What I JUST LOOOOVE about this is the asstastic medical industry would have you believe acne has "NOTHING" "to do" with food.
It's a huge money scam for them! "Oh noooo no no - food has minimal affect on your skin... please take these evil drugs instead."^^^
I have deep cystic acne ONLY if I eat cow treated with hormones. That includes dairy products. So I eat organic cow products and presto change-oh!!!
I have NO acne. Sometimes I get the light acne and that is the stuff that's related to too much sugar, too much makeup, too much of not washing
my pillow case ***BUT*** this is the minor league/small time acne I'm talking about. You can control and destroy those tiny things with a dab of
tea tree oil. Other than that - I am clear, clear, clear!
ALSO - I have an ever changing regime but I have discovered SKIN ALLERGIES! You may think you have acne for XYZ reason and use, oh
I don't know, Oxy pads to clean your face not KNOWING, that those pads are causing the acne and rash!
I was with water mostly, a tea tree oil astringent I make myself, and sometimes if I have make-up on I'll use an organic cream cleanser to wash
the real dirt off my face. as far as moisturizer goes.... that's another story - I am a Sephora know-it-all looking for the ageless cure...
To end this success story let me say this: I started having heavy acne at 20 after I had some birth control changes that ruined my weight,
complexion, ect ... I figured out that I cannot process the bad treated foods that we all eat at around 27. In between I had 7-years of
self-esteem ruining acne. Why? Because of the Pharmaceutical companies, the US Food Lobbies and the the USDA/FDA. Don't trust them people.
Take matters into your own hands. Find the reason you have the bump and eliminate that reason. If I can do it, you can too.
Good luck. =)
