I suffer from, acne, constipation, horrible eye swelling, left cheek swelling, and little red bumps on the back of my arms and legs(KP). My true belief has always been that this is all related. I think there is something wrong in my digestive system that is causing all this. As far as, the eye and cheek swelling, after about 37 doctor visits, I found it was sinuisitus that causing facial swelling, becuase of the change in blood flow to the sinuses, this causes the eyes to swell. I am getting sinus surgery in two weeks, hopefully that will help the swelling. in the meantime i am starting a gluten free diet, going b5, and zinc, and see if i can help out my digestive system.
Oh and btw my sinusitis was caused by environmental allergies, which i had no clue i had any. They say allergies are cause by auto-immune disorders which are often started in the intestines.

I would do a google search on leaky gut syndrome. You might find that all those symptoms are caused by it. I would also advice you on doing research on colon cleansing, but I'm probably going to be retributed by someone for giving such a foolish advice. So I won't, just do you own reasearch on the topic. You are definitely on the right track by focusing on your digestive system, but diet change alone might not be enough. It sounds to me that you have quite a bad case of leaky gut syndrome.

Have you been on antibiotics for any length of time? Do you ever feel fatigued as soon as you finish a meal? Do you suffer from brain fog?

I had/have acne. Had dry hair, constipation, and a handful of other digestive problems. My diet corrected/ severely helped all of these problems. I am on a raw food diet. www.freeacnebook.com .. Raw food diets have also been known to eliminate sinus infections. I guess glutamine is really good for repairing a leaky gut. I'm actually getting some today. I think it may make me break out a little though. But it could repair my problems for good.

If you're constipated not due to meds it probably means you dont have a good diet. So number one you should look at changing that. Constipation does affect acne even doctors will give you that one.You have toxic waste built up in your system which ends up circulating through your body directly affecting your skin since it also attempts to cleanse your system as well.
Constipation is serious issue a lot of people don't realize how unhealthy chronic constipation is.
My aunt had long term constipation which she ignored as a problem. Her skin was ash gray her eyes unhealthy yellow, acne and she was just weak and unhappy. When she started to make changes her appearance changed as well.
So change your diet. I don't know what you drink now but cut out all soda, drink PLENTY of water eat plenty of vegetable and fruit. I think if you'll keep that up and not "cheat" by eating pizza 3 times a day burgers or what have you, drinking chocolate milk then eating two apples and considering that a diet change (my friend did that) then you'll see a big difference in not only how you look but how you feel.

I have chronic constispation and acne, and I am going to go on the raw food diet. I have been reading and reading in the past few months since my huge breakout. I just knew something had to be going on.
