Maybe I'm clutching at straws here but I've noticed I've pretty much always had some form of digestive problem even though I do tend to eat pretty healthy. I was reading about how parasites in your stomach can effect your whole well being physically and mentally in some cases. Do you think its possible that for some people they can be the root cause of the acne? I was just wondering because my skin often looks crappy and not really "alive" even though I'm eating the correct amount of vits., fruit and vegatables everyday ... that got me thinking, parasites feed off you, what if they are just basically absorbing a lot of the vitamins that your body needs and your not getting them. I'm running out of reasons why my skin is so crappy and I'm trying to figure out ways of elimnating as many parasites as possible (because we all have them), does anybody know any good methods of doing this?

Thanks

well i agree with u on this whole idea. eliminating parasites and toxins from the digestive system/colon usually involves two types of methods, herbal/oral and physical(colonic, enema etc). There are special formulations out there that start u off on a colon cleanse. In addition to this you should take fibre shakes or psyllium husk preparations to help bufer up ur intestinal walls. Colonic irrigation is definitely an impotant and vital step if u wish to have a completely cleansed intestinal system. I personally havent undergone this, but i hear its painless and actually makes u feel good afterwards.

You should research this more on google.

Well, keep in mind the stomach is a very hard place for parasites to live - it was designed that way, what with being super acidic to kill off foreign invaders and shit. So it's intestinal parasites that could be a problem.

Either way I think if you want to be sure, you should go see a professional and get whatever test there is to find out. You could just be suffering from an imbalance of bad bacteria to good - not necessarily candida overgrowth, just general gut dysbiosis where there's too many 'bad guys' running around.

In my own case, when I go overboard with meat and dairy like I just did on this vacation I was on, I get faulty digestion, gas, bloating, diarrhea, and general stomach upset for the next couple days so in my general diet I avoid those things. What I do to get everything back in balance is just take Jarrow's probiotic powder and mix it with psyllium husk and water and chug it down, I get like 10x more good bacteria to the gut using the powder then most probiotic pills because the powder just has way more good guys in it smile.gif

Carrot juice is also good for stomach problems. I actually read some scientific research on this...

As far as parasites though, if you REALLY think it's parasites and not just general bacteria imbalance (or possibly candida), you can take black walnut extract, cloves and wormwood to kill off the adults and eggs. This is generally the formula that's used in products, you can just buy these ingredients seperate and save money. Oregano oil is also supposed to be good stuff, and it's a candida killer too - but you DEFINITELY have to supplement heavily on the probiotics after taking oregano oil because it's basically like a broad spectrum antibiotic - kills EVERYTHING. And finally it's theorized that MSM will help inadvertantly get rid of parasites hanging on to your gut if you take it for 10g a month. All I know is I take 10g daily and get plenty of other benefits, but I used to have little white specks in my stool that I guess could have been parasite eggs... Who knows. Anyways they don't come up anymore. Never saw any worms or anything like that.

I did a parasite cleanse a few years ago. At first I broke out bad, but then my skin cleared up for a year amazingly. Colonic are good as well as Hulda Clarks parasite cleanse. Google her. It has 3 herbs that work really well.

Well its amazing how you dont realise how ill you are until someone tells you, I'm going to do a parasite cleanse for sure but I just came back from the Doctor to get my blood tests results and both my iron and white-cell count is at a stupidly low level and I didnt even know myself sad.gif that explains the crapness of my appearence and skin, plus he gave me a 1 week sick note and even talked about a blood transfusion next week shock.gif I'm just shocked I didnt realise it was that at all. But I'm sure this has nothing to do with my acne, shall see ... I still want to follow this parasite treatment, after I've sorted this other stuff out.
