Hi,
I am thinking of doing my first ever "detox"
I was thinking of doing a week of just eating fruit and drinking water. Maybe some supplements. And jumpstarting the week with a colonic.

What do you think?
Will one colonic do anything, or does it have to be done multiple times?
For those of you who have had a colonic, is it true that you lose weight, because a lot of intestinal buildup is released, therefore making you weigh less?

I would get just one after something like a liver flush maybe, otherwise they usually do a series of colonics up to 6, sometimes more depending on the person, to gradually soften and loosen any stubborn deposits. I didn’t happen to lose any more weight, perhaps because I was already somewhat cleaned out from eating extremely healthily for some time.

You might want to read a bit further if you haven’t already to get a better idea of specific fruits, supplements etc that will be the most beneficial during your detox smile.gif

I just had my second colonic today (Friday). Got my first on Wednesday just gone. Getting two more next week, then one per week for a few weeks after that.

I've altered my diet, am taking liver detox supplements, and also flax and emu oils, among other things. From what i gather, you really do need to do more than one initially.

I'm fairly lean, but i have noticed that my tummy feels alot flatter. Definately doing something inside.
