How much is too much??

I've always kind of just guessed how much zinc I should take... and i've been taking 50 mg a day.. just one tablet. But once and a while i've been doubling it so it's 100 mg a day... and im not sure if thats too much zinc and if that could be bad or not.. What are your views?

im pretty sure nething over 50 isnt good im taking 50 once a day as well.... BTW nice videos lol

I think 100mg is way too much. You should take 50mg at the most. And does your zinc supplement include copper?

even if your taking 30mg you need to take copper with it as zinc will causea a copper deficiency. Take 2.5 mg Chelated Copper and you'll be straight. I could be wrong but I thought I read that Zinc will only improve your acne if you have a deficiency of zinc, which was causing it. If after a while it doesn't completely clear you, then it wasn't the problem. Zinc is still a good vitamin to take, but its better to get your zinc and all other vitamins throught the food that you eat.

Thanks for the responses =) My supplements do not include copper, but I will stick to taking it just 50 mg a day//every other day.

How do you know they contain 50mg of zinc? how do you know the machine that makes the supplement didn't fuck up and put 150mg in or 550mg? how do you know the company making the product couldn't be arsed to to buy any zinc and just sold you a bunch of pills with flour in them? Queue sci-fi music du du, du du, du du, du fade out.....

maybe we should talk about "How much zinc" in context of %, like on my zinc thingy, forgot how much mg, but its like 337%, so like yea, how much is enough for some results? or effect? w/e
