eusa_think.gif eusa_wall.gif This is what I eat in a day:

1. Salad (consists of tomatoes, cucumbers, celery, avocado, lettuce, peas, corn, carrots, brocolli) I season w/Sea Salt(no iodine), pepper, and lemon.

2. white rice(no oil or salt added)

3. lentils or beans

4. Soy Smoothies (3 pieces of frozen papaya, 3 frozen strawberries, 3 pieces of melon, 1/2 banana) no sugar. Every 3 days.

This is what I generally eat pretty much everyday now.

Is white rice bad by any chance? Is it gluten-free?? doubt.gif I dont know if what I eat causes me pimples but I still eat this anyways. I have been on this diet for 2 weeks now.

Also is it true pimples take 1 month to come out eusa_wall.gif That is to say it takes them 1 month to form and show up on the skin or its instant?

Thnx cool.gif

oh man.....that is not a good diet. u have to eat more!
u will probably have a lack of vitamins.
add following things to ur diet:

- certain fruits (apples,strawberries,pineapples,....)
- eggs
- meat! (turkey,chicken...BUT no red meat)
- take brown rice instead of white rice
- buckwheat
- potatos
- quinoa
- oats (u can eat them with rice milk)
- and many more.....

don't worry so much about your diet! eat healthy. that's it.

It seems like your're not eating enough
This may actually have the opposite effect as your body signals a lack of calories and lower it's BMR trying to store more fat and hence increasing fat deposits

White rice is gluten-free. Buckwheat, millet, quinoa and amaranth are gluten-free too but they're healthier
White rice is not the healtiests of the food. It's refined and hence it lacks most of its original nutrients but provide more calories for a less amount. So you waste your calories by introducing food which is caloric but not nourishing. It also lacks the fibers that would regulate the absorption of its starches
Try whole rice/wild rice instead and change your grains so you don't consume always the same

You seems also to be short on fat but fats are actually good for your body.
Isn't rice pretty bland without some oil? Extra virgin olive oil is a good fat if your don't exceed it and use half tbs to dress your grains.

Nuts also are a good source of fats. You can add sesame or walnuts to your salad
Peanuts make someone breakout but nuts are okay for my skin ... so you'd have to experiment a little

Try not to have a too low intake of protein
If you're vegetarian you may have eggs since they're okay for your skin or acne, actually very good because they're rich source of zinc
If you're vegan try to eat beans/lentils at least twice a day

That seems very boring! There are many other alternatives you can add to your diet that are clearly good for your skin.
