I'm going to the beach next week. Is it ok to be in the sun even w/ a ton of sunscreen on??????
Its day 16 of accutane. I've got dry lips,dry eyes & a little dryness on some pimples. I wake up really thirsty every morning. I notice some clarity in my skin already. I'm worried that 20mg isn't going to really clear it up. My doc put me on 30mg but after 2 days w/ tension headaches that would come & go, she told me to take 20mg.

You should be okay at the beach. Make sure the sunscreen is water proof. And since your on such a low dose, the effects shouldnt be too bad.
Your only on day 16. Give your body at least a month to adapt to this strong medication, then im sure your derm will increase the dose and you will be fine. Have fun in the sun!
