1. Always wear sun protection!
2. Dont smoke
3. Cleanse, tone, moisturize twice a day.
4. Get plenty of sleep
5. Drink 8-10 cups of water a day
6. Eat lots of veggies and fresh fruits
Ironically, Jeanne Calment, the women listed by Guinness as living the longest documented life of any human being, smoked for over 100 years. As far as I know, aside from eating fruit every day, she didn't do any of those things.
Anyway, y'all should check out the insane regimen that Ray Kurzweil goes through every day. He plans to live forever.
Just because she lived long, doesn't mean she looked young ...

I think that happiness usually determines life span. What is funny is that the life span of a goldfish is 20 years yet they usually don't live long.
My great uncle thinks he's going to live forever too. Of course, he has a bad lifestyle and is very unhappy.

RealAge is a good thing to look up for a beginner.

Basically, to slow down your rate of aging:
1. Eat right, and of course what that truly entails. Ignore anyone that tells you to do a highly restricted diet, such as all raw, vegan, vegetarian (can be healthy, but certainly not optimal or at least as easy to manage), atkins, etc.
2. Sleep plenty each night.
3. Do both cardio and weight training. Keep in shape.
4. Be in a healthy environment.
5. As an extension to diet, there are some supplements that can help, like fish oil.

Not only that but even if a person smokes, doesn't eat any veggiee, don't sleep enough, is always stressed, drink just alcohol, is always dehyrated and she looks young anyway this doesn't mean that those things we've listed are wrong and have no effect on aging and you can get away with all kind of abuse
We've talked about this already: there are differences among people, weaknesses and strengths due to several individual factors. There are people whose skin is not so attacked by free radicals because of strength defense mechanism and people who must avoid those attacks in the first place.
There's no one who has all strengths and no weaknesses so even if someone seems to get away with dietary and lifestyle abuses they will strike back on other aspect of her or his health and life often in that aspects that doesn't seem to be a problem for you who had instead problem with what was a strong point for that person. Free radicals are still the cause of aging and all the things we've listed contrast free radicals, someone may have been more protected by born from free radicals and other may be more subject to their attack but still preventing high levels of oxidization is the most important aspect

I wouldn't suggest oil fish though. PUFA are very delicate and they become rancid so easily it doesn take a little light. I'm quite sure that all kind of EFA in a bottle like flax seed oil, fish oil and oil capsules are rancid and you can't tell by their awful smell. Rancid fats are a major contributor to oxidization and free radicals
It's better to get your fish oils from fish itself: atlantic salmon, atlantic cod, atlantin herrings, oysters, mussels, sardines, trout, clams, calamari, lobster, halibut, pollock, shrimps and sole

I've noticed that when I gain weight, I look younger. When I lose weight, I look older.
Your not imagining it! Its a proven fact that underweight woman have a "sunken" complexion which makes the wrinkles MUCH more noticable!
Yes!
The most important aspect of face appareance is muscles, young faces have toned and strong muscles face ... models have well defined jaw line and cheek bones muscles. When you lose weight through bad lifestyle, diseases, bad dieting you lose mostly muscles and you fat mass actually goes up. That's what a sunken, gaunt face is all about, wasted face muscles. Emaciated cheecks are not filled in by fat but by muscles.
If you had instead to lose FAT and to tone your muscles even if the weight would be less your face would look more toned and younger ... but actually most of the time when you're already thin and you lose fat and tone muscles you gain weight
If someone would waste a lot of muscle mass increasing fat mass he or she would go out and exercise those muscles with physical acticity so they get toned. Even face muscles need their workout especially if they have been wasted, yet increasing your lean body mass and stop losing it would by itself improve muscles face but they need a workout. That's why you need to talk, sing aloud, chew your food thorougly and laugh a lot. If your muscle face hurts when you laugh a lot it means they could be more toned and are benefitting from the "workout". This is so far the most important reason why people who laugh a lot appear young and why people who don't use their muscle faces much (always working behind a desk, lying on the coach, rarely talking or singing and drinking their foods or super cooking it instead of chewing on hard fibers) age quicker and don't appear young

Oh ok. I've lost weight, but when I was doing basketball and eating a lot, I gained weight but I didn't get any bigger. Muscle is smaller than fat anyways.
I always sing, laugh, or smile unless I can't like right now since I'm on the CSR.
