L-glutathione is an antiageing antioxidant... very powerful... it is critical for healthy immune system function... Glutathione helps the body fight almost any disease, because it is a powerful antioxidant that helps maintain cellular health and helps prevent oxidative stress... so it would b very benificial against acne and ur general health... i think the dosage is something like 250mg daily... but dont take my word on this as ive never used it before...

Vitamin c u should take minimum of 500mg daily... i take between 1000mg and 2000mg daily...

and try and find a good multivitamin that contains a very wide range of vitamins...

And i would say u have to drink alot fo water... always good to flush out your system.... maybe even a liver cleanse would b beneficial not just for ur skin but ur overall health...

Take care now bye bye then cool.gif

I've heard that it makes it worse since iodine is salt right and it is in dairy as well?

No use in overdosing on Vit C peeps. Its water soluable and any excess you take will just end up in the toilet.

Multivitamins usually have iodine in them which isn't too good for you.

Single vitamins are much better since you know what you're putting into your body. You should only take vitamins for things that you don't eat.

"Milk may also contain excessive amounts of iodine, which can irritate pores, bringing on acne flare-ups. According to James E. Fulton Jr., M.D., head of the Acne Research Institute in Newport Beach, Calif., "In some who are acne-prone, I'd say 1,000 micrograms or one milligram of iodine a day could be a problem." A recent analysis of milk samples collected from 175 dairy herds throughout Wisconsin averaged 466 micrograms of iodine per liter; 11 percent of the samples contained more than 1,000 micrograms of iodine per liter. (The iodine gets into the milk through the use of contaminated milking equipment and medication given to the cows.)"

i know its about milk and dairy... but the main underlying principle is ther... lol

yep... which proves the point that too much milk or any cow milk at all can have adverse affects on ur acne... because of the high amounts of iodine they feed them...

I was asking coz I saw another sight that said Glutathione doesn't do anything in humans when taken as a supplement but is better when the body creates it from other supplements.
