Eating deep fried foods and fast food like McDs will always give me a couple of good zits. But that is just me, it is different for everyone.

well if you ask me any heated food will cause a breakout... www.freeacnebook.com .... I am living proof of this.. I would have to guess that deep fried meat would contain even more toxins and would definately cause breakouts..

There's a difference between deep fried, regular fried and stir fried. Stir fried is probably fine, if it's in a mostly saturated oil like coconut oil or butter. Deep fried on the other hand releases a shitload of free radicals from the oxidized oil, carcinogens from the cooked meat, and generally wreaks havoc on your system. It's up there with trans fat for worst fats to have in your diet. Regular fried won't be as bad but it's still bad. Whether or not it breaks you out, that's your call. Personally, I don't really eat much fried foods except if I do something like an asian stir fry rice dish at home.

Stir frying is probably a great way to get some nice flavour without going overboard on the oil.

Just remember... its all about moderation.

Most fast food places used hydrogenated oils which are THE WORSE THING YOU CAN INGEST. They deplete electrons in the body and therefore the body is less able to stabalize free radicals, thereby increasing a persons risk of cancer. In general, they are toxic toxic toxic. Also, they throw off a person's ph balance becuase they are acidic. Most people are too acidic, which results in various health problems, acne included. Canola oil and margarine are one step away from plastic. A few good oils are olive oil, coconut oil, safflower oil (if I remember correctly)...
Fast Food = Hydrogenated Oils = Death

I don't think that grilled food has much oil on it. Could be wrong of course.

Fried foods can give you cancer. They have transfat. sad.gif Anyways, MODERATION.

My mother deep fries meat. The recipe she makes is called chicken Fried steak and is traditionally eating with whited sauce. First take the ground beef and coat it in egg yolk. Dip this in breading of your choice. Then drop the big coated beef in a deep fryer. Serve with white sauce dripped on and around the beef.

As I have said already, you can still eat it as long as she doesn't make it everyday. I bet that your mom makes healthier food than restaurants anyways. wink.gif

Grilled food doesn't have oil generally, because oil isn't needed to keep your steak from sticking to your grill.

Fried foods don't have trans fat unless they were cooked in a partially hydrogenated cooking oil. Fried foods, on the other hand, usually do have a shitload of free radicals in them caused by oxidation of the oil (since most people don't fry with butter or coconut oil like they should, instead using canola and olive because Newsweek said to do it). Free radicals cause cancer. Just had to get things clarified smile.gif
