Your body does not get collagen from food, it has to make it. Absorbing collagen also promotes the body’s own collagen production.

Erm, vitamin C? shrug.gif but that's not going to have any real noticable effects, on say wrinkles/scars...

I wouldn't buy anything from that site even if it claimed to contain ambrosia itself (the food of the gods not rice pudding). look up the words pseudo and science and stop worrying about your collagen production. scars are cool haven't you heard?

Actually yeah.

I take Haliborange high strength vitamin C 500 mg plus natural bioflavonoids and vitamin E.

It actually gives a slight facelift effect sort of thing and wrinkles smooth out. The reason is that it ups the rate of collagen production.

It's mostly temporary, whilst you take the vitamin C though.

Dunno why, but that one works better than other vitamin C's I've taken; partly the bioflavonoids I suspect.

Maybe it's becuase it contains the word ORANGE in it, i've heard that things that contain the word ORANGE are very good at helping with vitamin C issues, especially ORANGES wink.gif

good collagen source comes from the skin of animals..which a lot of people don't like or won't try.

Eg. Pig leg, fish skin, chicken skin

take MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) .
it is very good for collagen production

Take it in powder form not pill form
I recommend taking 10g (2 teaspoons) a day.

You cannot overdose with MSM because the body will take and use whatever it needs, and after a 12-hour period flush any excess amounts from the body.

take it with Vitamin C and E

hope this helps, good luck.

Yes, Vitamin C & E with MSM. biggrin.gif These all need each other to be most beneficial.

Yeah, but you'd have to eat about 50 ORANGES to get as much vitamin C as halibORANGE.

Yes Vit C works brilliantly as well. Get just Vit C cuz it's more concentrated and not multivitamins.

its not a food... but any form of tretinoin (retin-a, renova, differin) enhances collagen production eusa_dance.gif
