Hello everybody,

Does anyone break out when they take a multivitamin? Eat too much: milk? cheese? cereal? bread? pasta? enriched juices? vitamin/protien bars?

I know I do. I did a little research and found that a lot of our daily foods are enriched with all sorts of vitamins. Milk, cheese, flours and cereals. I know how bad my face can get when I supplement with "vitamins" and I'm sensing a strong connection here. I'm not saying that eating these foods once a week will cause anything, but eating them on a daily bases perhaps. This isn't much of a informative post about food fortification but rather then I'm going to test it out for a period of time and let you guys know the results. I'll be severly cutting down on fortified foods. I believe my main culprits are milk, cereal, and cheese. I will have the occassional bread, white flour (not fortified I believe), and yoghurt. Otherwise it's going to be fruit/veggies/meat/eggs and some chocolate smile.gif . Again I don't think it's just eating these foods once, but rather eating too much. These vitamins could be aggrivating our skin, hormones or god knows what.

I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I like to share my knowledge of what works and doesn't, at least for me. I love it when people share their knowledge with me too ^_^.<br />http://paleosophy.blogspot.com/

Day 1:

Progress. Even after day 1 I can see great improvement which means I am doing something right. I started my day with fruit and for lunch I had eggs with sausage and veggies. Inbetween I ate some dark chocolate and fruit and am now going to have a chicken dinner with a little bit of cake for desert. Mentally, I feel a LOT better. Much more alive and confident. There are two foods that I absolutely don't eat anymore that I used to eat daily: milk and cereal. Both, I strongly believe, are the main culprits for acne in the western diet. I also don't drink any soy or fruit juices with vitamins added and I go easy on the bread/flour/pasta stuff. I also consumed vitamin bars before and have cut those out also I am not taking any vitamins anymore. I'm also drinking more bottled water. Well that's day one, I'll update when neccessary.

Go Czech Republic. eusa_shhh.gif

Till next time...

Day 2:

Awesome. Not one new zit. I don't have any new acne and the scars are fading. The skin is looking great. By the way, I suffered from 6-7 years of cystic acne. I read a lot of the posts in here and chuckle, because I have been there and done that. Food group diets, inflammtion diets, masturbation "diet", clean teeth routine. LoL. Anyway, I am really on to something here. Hope I don't get assassinated before I clear up...

I had the same experience when I started to change my diet. Today I have clear skin if I don't stray from it and consume foods that I'm sensitive to. I had some Bailey's cheescake sunday and some monday, my face started to feel itchy and yesterday I got blemishes.

Today is about day 4ish and I have had one small zit. But the acne will not shut off asap. I believe the body needs time to cleans itsetlf and restore itself from the toxification. Anyway, all red marks are fading and one small "zit" if I can call it that. That's progress.
