So lately I've been looking up different countries to study abroad in during my junior year; I'm interested in mainly New Zealand and Australia. It just so happens that my boyfriend is studying abroad in Australia now, a completely different region of the country...but my friends are still giving me shit for it! They are like " And him being there has nothing to do with your interest?" It's just pissing me off a lot because a) I truly am interested in the area and b) he will be long gone from Australia by the time I would be there. Argh!!!

I was on Minocycline for probably two years on and off. It worked pretty well for me, but ultimately I went to Accutane cause I wanted a solution.......well my doctor has now alerted me that I am antibiotic-resistant! I had a UTI and took the antibiotics, thought it went away, and then developed a kidney infection around two weeks later and had to be put on Cipro and oxycodone (it was very painful). So basically from now on I'll always have to be careful with antibiotics and make sure I get strong enough ones.....

Just be careful if you are on antibiotics longterm! They worked great for me but now that I look back on it, I don't think it's worth it. I like Accutane so much more <3

It's time for Accutane again! I was on it for only three months a month or so ago....but had to stop because I moved. My mild acne (thankfully not my crazy bad cheek acne) rapidly started coming back so I'm starting up the meds again. I'll be on 40 mg daily for a week, then alternate between 40 mg and 80 mg per day. I'm 120 pounds/~54 kilograms. I'll be on this course for about six months.
I haven't filled my prescription yet because I'm waiting for my dermatologist to look over my bloodwork....but I will update this soon!

Here is a pic of my current situation. You can't see but I have many skin-colored bumps on my face as well.

PS wow I need to pluck my eyebrows in this pic. eusa_shifty.gif Hehe oh well.

So I only got to do 3 months of Tane in the US, and some small clogged pores and bumps have started coming back. I went to the GP here in Canada, only waited 2 weeks to see a derm (cause of a cancellation) and right away the derm says she'd like to put me on 6 month course.

Ahahaha, no iPledge here, and I can get more than 1 month prescription at a time....I love it!!!!!!!!

So I don't do the "No-Poo" thing, but I've read several threads on it. What do people who are in the ocean a lot do? Or people who go to pools several times a week? Just curious as A) I use to live in Hawaii and was constantly in the ocean and B) I used to be a springboard diver and was in the pool for at least 20 hours a week. The pools really damaged my hair and I had to buy special chlorine shampoos and cut 4 inches out of my hair...so I was just curious what you all do about this!
