Oily skin is my main problem that branches off causing other problems. I know it's Hormone related because I'm a guy who's 16 in puberty and i have lots of mood swings so it obviously hormonal. I don't want any internal thing b.c. I'm afraid of it limiting my overall growth, but i don't mind being persuaded if there's no risk to limiting growth. Topical application seems like a good idea but i don't exactly know much about the field of Hormones and Anti Androgens. Anyone know a good topical Anti Androgen that i can get w/o prescription?

right now im using Purpose Cleanser which is supposed to be very gentle, however im prone to breakouts so i was wondering since Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser has Triclosan which is an antiseptic be better for me to fight against my inflammed acne or would it just be over irritating?

i have been drinking 1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with Orange juice twice a day, morning and night.
Also, i have made an ACV/Tea Tree Oil Toner, i think its one of the main things b.c. the ACV has Alpha Hydroxy Acids which helps Purge the pores of anything that clogs it. okay so here's the step by step routine: 1.) drink the ACV 1st thing in the morning and night. 2.) Take a shower with Lukewarm water, cleanse with Purpose Cleanser or any gentle cleanser while in the shower, before u get out take a short shower with really cold water so your pores close up, this will help keep in moisture so u dont have to overdue any moisturizer u might have. Cold Water also helps reduce redness and minimizes the size of pimples. 3.) Apply the Toner using any ratio of ACV (Organic ACV works best b.c. of healing properties) and water that fits well with your skin 1:8 usually for sensitive, 2:6 normal/combo/Dry, 1:1 Oily. And u can just add a little Tea Tree Oil for a little bit more antibacterial properties. Apply the toner with a Cotton Ball or for spot treatment use a Q-Tip 4.) Apply Moisturizer if needed. 5.) Do the same routine at night, however u dont have to take 2 showers a day, u can cleanse in a skin and just get a bucket of cold water and put a little bit of ice in it to make it really cold Notes: You may see a breakout at first but that's just the purge which means that the treatment is working and is pulling out all the bad stuff trapped in your pores, once the purge is over your skin should look better than when it started. Try to use Products that are Sensitive on the skin, you dont want to irritate the skin which will make the situation worse. Other things that might help: Anything that can make u sweat a lot will help pull out the bad stuff from your pores. I would get a lip balm that does not clog pores just so u dont get whiteheads around the mouth. Sleep, Healthy eatting. A big problem with everything is Irritation. Don't Overload on treatment, it will irritate the skin causing lots of oil to replaced what has been lost, dead skin gets mixed in with it, and bacteria feeds on the both and there you get inflammed acne. I suggest reading to pick out some products that won't irritate the skin. If u have any questions ill try my best to answer them. |
