well ive been on acnexus for 2 weeks now. at first i thought it was clearing it all up - when i wasnt wearing make up and used it 3 times a day... but i have things to do and i need to wear make up if im going out... i dont always have time to wash my face and reapply my make up in the middle of the day.
i guess i expected some kind of miracle but it doesnt seem to be working the quality of my skin seems more healthy but the acne hasnt gone away.. and continues to show up i never wanted to try accutane cause its so bad for your body in the long run but im really considering it... i hate not wanting to go out because of my face. i hate putting on makeup first thing in the morning so that even my family cant see how awful it is. and its PAINFUL. my face hurts! ugh. also - biodermazen didnt seem to do much i am also doing IPL treatments that kill the ph acne bacteria (i think thats what its called). its a lower intensity treatment than fotofacial.. i've only done 3 so i dunno if its working yet.

I got my Acnexus in the mail today. It came in a plain box and was post marked Utah. As I opened the package I could smell something odd. I thought maybe it had spilled but it hadn't. The bottle was actually larger than I thought, and to my surprise there were no directions(except on the bottle), no invoice, promotionals, or other literature that you usually receive with mail orders.
The bottle said to gently rub on the skin but it didn't mention wetting the face first, so I did it just the way it said, without water. Does anyone know if you're supposed to wet your face first? My skin feels nice, even though the product felt like I was washing my face with liquified beach sand. The smell is quite strong but not in a bad way; just a different way. I'm hoping for the best but prepared if it doesn't work, as I've tried just about every over the counter product and most prescriptions, except for accutane. My condition is mainly rosacea on the nose with occcasional acne. Some prescriptions I've tried: Plexion cleanser, tazorac, various antibiotics, finacea and metrogel. I've also had about 4 laser treatments. I'm wondering if Acnexus is a scam. I bought it very spur of the moment when I saw their website during an acne search. They claim to be big in Europe but if you do a search of "Acnexus" there's very little out there. I found this website, their own Acnexus site which is some kind of diet pill company, ebay and that's about it. If this is a product that 25,000 have used and is really big in Europe I would think there would be more info about it and more places selling it. Anyone know how long it's been around? |

I just got my Acnexus in the mail today, and I'm a little worried. Like the person before me mentioned, it comes with no additional information, just the bottle by itself. I also read the bottle, and on the side it says ..."by cloggin pores". Yeah, they forgot the 'g' on clogging... seems pretty sketchy to me. Anyways, just thought I would share. I'll let you guys know how it works out.

Cloggin? lol
Another weird thing was that on the box it came in there were stamps. Regular stamps like the ones you use at home when you mail a letter. Most companies have some kind of stamp machine. Also, on the website whenever I try to log into my account I get this weird error. They have number you can call, but they never answer. It's a recording and they get back to you, but I didn't bother to leave a message. Anyway, this morning I used it in the shower with my face damp and it went on better. I think that's how I'll do it now rather than just putting it on my dry face. My face looks and feels good, but it felt good with other scrubs like Neutrogena's Stress Scrub, so only time will tell whether it's worth the $$$. I'm going to use twice a day and will try to update weekly. |

I have a small review here.
http://www.acne.org/messageboard/forums.html...20 A few more on the first page of that thread too. So far it's working good for me. My skin looked good before I tried it (I was having one of my "good" weeks) but I havent had a break out since Ive been using this stuff. And usually my "good" weeks alternate with "bad" weeks, so Im excited to have clear skin for almost 2 weeks straight now. Im using twice a day with no moisturizers. I still consider this stuff in a probationary period since I was pretty clear the first time I used it, but if I STAY clear, then I will order another bottle and swear by it. Although it isnt working for everyone, it seems to be working for me.
------------
Regimen: Morning: Cetaphil cleanser Dan's BP mainly as spot treatment for my problem areas Sea Breeze Moisturizer Night: Same as above, except I do BP on my entire face rather than just spot treatment. |

After only 2-3 days, I can see a difference. My face is more clear and the redness on and around my nose seems to be going away. I really recommend this product.

QUOTE(ivetriedeverything @ Apr 24 2007, 04:40 PM) i just ordered acnexus last night and am waiting for it to come in the mail. after all the great reviews i've read i'm very excited to recieve it and start using it. im going to make sure to keep a close eye on everything so other people will know if it really does work or not! let me know how the biodermazen goes for you. I bought a bottle for my daughter but haven't given it to her yet. I kind of freak out when it comes to internal products. I worry about side effects and or allergic reactions. |

I checked my bottle and it also says "cloggin". Maybe the proofreader had a hangover that day.
Anyway, I've been using only Acnexus twice a day for 12 days and I have no miracle to report. I'm no worse but I may be a little better. I've had no breakouts and my redness has subsided. I asked my mother for her honest opinion and she said I looked pretty good; she tells it like she sees it. I definitely need more time to see if it's the Acnexus or just my face responding to being less aggravated from all of the other products I've tried. I've noticed that my face seems more balanced. There's no dryness and no oil to speak of, and it seems a little smoother but not a lot. I'm wondering if I should have tried a gentle exfoliator instead of handing over $30 for something so unknown like Acnexus. I was always afraid that exfoliating scrubs would aggravate my skin, so I avoided them like the plague. I think what I'm going to do when I'm done with the Acnexus is try a gentle exfoliator, possibly St Ives or something like that and see if I get the same results. It would have to have the consistency of Acnexus which is very fine. It will also be a lot less expensive. For now I'll continue with Acnexus twice a day and see how long it lasts. I read on the website that it lasts about 6 weeks if you're just using it on your face. I'm not really sure how many pumps you're supposed to use on your face, but I've been using 2 pumps which isn't a lot, but it does spread and cover my entire face. Someone asked about returning it. I would only return it it made my face worse. I've done it with plenty of products in the past so that doesn't bother me. Acnexus hasn't made me worse so I'll keep it and see what happens. |

Hi all
This is my first post on here - I came across this website a few days ago while searching for information on Acnexus. I happened to stumble across the 2 REALLY negative reviews written about it, and it scared me - because I had already ordered a bottle. My question is, for those of you who have been using Acnexus, have you been using any astringents/toners/etc. after applying the scrub? I've always heard that washing with a gentle, oil-free face wash following any kind of scrub will dilute oil/dead skin that the scrubs have a tendency to leave behind. I don't have incredibly bad acne - just enough to be sick of dotting on concealer every morning - and I was really looking forward to receiving the Acnexus...it's such a bummer to know that others aren't having much luck Any advice is greatly appreciated! |

Hi everyone
I order acnexus a week or so ago; three bottles: 2 for me and 1 for my mom who got it for the proclaimed aging helping it does, and she even gets an occasional zit i guess. Anyway, I first became skeptical of Acnexus when one of the bottles in the box was not screwed on all the way and therefore some of it had leaked out. And then I noticed how there was nothing else in the box but the bottle of Acnexus - no brochure or anythign explaining it. I also noticed how unprofessional the misspelling of "clogging" was. Anyway, I've been using it twice a day, scrubbing it on with a facial cleansing buff, for 8 days now. So far, no visible change except I have even more zits on my chin. I have the toner and repairing lotion left over from Proactiv i used to have, so starting tomorrow im going to make my regimine Acnexus > proactiv toner > proactiv lotion, and then maybe even some Oxy vanishing lotion on top of that and see how that works. If it doesn't, I'm calling acnexus quits and doing all I can to get my money back. What makes me nervous though are the posts I've seen where people try to contact these people but arrive at dead ends, or how the only positive reviews of the product are made by fake accounts and sites paid to make the product sound good. Well, We'll see how this new plan works out and if it doesn't I hope we can all sort of band together to find an effective way to contact these people, scammers or not. |

I've ordered and used acnexus for about 2 weeks...and all I can say is that it wreaked havoc on my skin particularly the skin under my nose and my chin. I have oily skin and cystic acne that comes up especially if I'm nearing my period and I've been using proactiv (not the cleanser though - I use cetaphil) to treat them. Proactiv was ok but I was looking for an alternative. It felt nice in the beginning but unfortunately this product just made my acne worse instead of making it better....Now, I'm regretting why I bought it in the first place. I suspect that the oils doint react well to my skin.
I bough mine through ebay and the seller is not responding to me and I'm having a hard time getting my money back...I guess I should just consider that money down the drain eh? |

hello everyone..
i am 19 years old and have been dealing with acne problems for about 4 years now and just this year my acne has gotten extremely worse. i have been using acnexus for 3 weeks now and my skin has been improving everyday. i have tried murad, proactiv, clearpores, and nothing has worked like acnexus has. i am a real person using this product, not a paid ebay person. i use this product twice a day. i use a washcloth and wet my face and then i use 2-3 pumps of acnexus and with a circular motion scrub it on my face for about 2 minutes. then i wash it off with my hands, not a washcloth. in the morning i apply aveeno clear complexion moisturizer after i use acnexus and at night i dont use anything after acnexus. sometimes if you use too many products your face could get a lot worse. for me, keeping with this schedule has improved my acne to a point where i am not embarrassed, nor in pain, nor having the need to pick at my skin, not piling on makeup, and not wanting to wash my face 10 times a day. i ordered 2 more bottles off of ebay and it just came in the mail today. i got one for my mom and one for me and it came with a free bottle of juliet's acne gel. i just used the gel about 10 minutes ago and so far it feels good, very tingly! maybe the gel will make my skin EVEN better! i definately think this is a product worth trying. p.s. i found the packaging and the misspelling of "cloggin" very odd too, but that didn't stop me from using it. i love this product! |

Be careful all, this above msg is a scam. The same message is posted elsewere with slight differences. The seller even has his web site to review his own products he sells on ebay: http://pricesexposed.org/ See for yourself! He sales different product on different names on ebay. He also made 2 ebay reviews on 2 different user ID! I think this product is crap due to those lame maketing technics. I almost purchased the product thru ebay then I got second thaught because something was wrong... In fact it's dead wrong! The product seems to work for you guys but I find all this too weird to go futher with this... |

yeah this whole scam thing is getting creepy.
but, acnexus alone didn't work, but in the meantime of me ordering proactiv again which seemed to work for me, i used acnexus along with some leftover proactiv toner and repairing lotion, and my skin seems to be clearing up better. i do it twice a day. but yeah, these scam messages and eerie hints at this whole thing being a fake are quite unsettling |
