Hi everyone,
Have you ever heard of this laser? Has any of you had this laser treatment? A doctor I met said it would improve my scars by 70% at least. I really wonder its results.

I'm just back from my derm. I have some allergy due to the moisturizer I use at night. I also asked him how to treat my scars (over and over since I got my scars). I have three relatively deep scars. 1 icepeek 1mm in depth, and 2 boxcars 0.5 mm in depth. I also have a few superficial deformations which are not scars and look like brown or red spots in the daylight but become tiny holes in direct lightening. I asked him about TCA Cross. He said cross would not treat the scars properly and would not be beneficial unless scars are cut from the tethers that hold the scar tissue down. He is a professor of dermatology so I believe what he says. My skin was like a wreckage last year, and he did what he promised up to now. He said my deep scars would improve by 60%. He is just back from some conferences abroad and mentioned the new techniques with which he stated he could eliminate my superficial deformations. I wanted to learn what they are, but he didn't say anything in order not to scare me for now (because I cried few times in his office because of my scars). we are now waiting for the winter to come. I'm surprised and disappointed TCA would not close up my relatively deep and tiny scars.
I'm sorry I'm not telling something new or exciting. I have learnt there are some new techniques and wanted to share it with you. I'll share all my experiences and treatments on this board. I have learnt everything I know about scarring from this forum, and it also makes me feel better to know that there are people feeling just like me and helping each other in different parts of the world.

hi,
while I was searching for the latest developments for acne scarring, I came across this article which I thought could be useful for those living around. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/...80213090459.htm |
