I took accutane about 7 years ago. It was a normal 6 month course at 40 mg then went to 60 the last few months. Anyway my question is, did anyone who has taken accutane more than 2 years ago still have issues with healing? Meaning when you get a pimple it takes a while to clear and once the bump goes down it leaves a red mark that takes a while to go away as well and once that fades it leaves a white pigmentation scar. Doctors never informed me of much about this being permanent. This for some reason depresses me. My skin is not dried out since I still breakout but that could be stress related. So does anyone have that same problem or is it all in my head( god I wish it was just in my head). So If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate this.

So I know they're alot of topics on accutane hairloss but they seem to be mixed. Itook accutane when I was 15 and noticed no thining at all maybe dry hair but that was normal. I only took 1 course at 40 mg a day for 6 months. Years after I am now 23 and my hair which used to be thick has now seems dry and dull on the top, I shed a little bit. My hairline has definitely receded but I have a little bit of a family history as my dad hair is thinned but he is not fully bald. What I wanna know is it because of taking accutane that my hair is getting thin fast or is it early mpb? Has anyone else had problems with sped up mpb years after taking accutane(males)?

So i was just a little worried about this. I took accutane about 7 years ago and was on 40 mg. I have been reading alot about it and saw that most people are developing side effects (or claim to) 5+ years down the line. I want to know who has been off accutane for at least 5 years and how is your life? Any side effects?

I know its normal to have excessive sweating while on accutane, but what about after? Anybody have this experience and if so, how long has it been since accutane??

so i've been off accutane for 7 years now. I am 22. Before taking accutane I was a somewhat shy, laid back guy. Nothing really bothered me. Following the years of taking accutane I have these anger trips that get really bad. My parents used to call the cops on occasions it got so bad. It happens when im really aggravated at something and I just get pissed. I slammed things, but I never would hit people or doing anyone any harm. I don't know whats my problem. Im looking into anger management classes and hopefully it can make things better for me. I want to be the laid back, nothing worries him guy again and not the asshole. It has cost me lots of relationships with girls too. I used to be the nice guy in high school. Now girls say im the biggest asshole they ever met. I know some girls like that to an extent but I don't like me when im like that. I guess where im trying to get at is, does anyone else have post-accutane anger/anxiety?
