I have a VERY WEIRD type of acne...which I strongly believe that it is because of the birth control i started to control my mild acne. anyways, I use to get "normal people pimples" as id call them because what I get on my face, especially my lower face, concentrated on the chin and mouth area, is NOT NORMAL PEOPLE PIMPLES. very frequently I get 1-2 raised acne cysts that look like a big bubble on the side of my chin...very noticeable & ANNOYING! i started getting these after i started tri-sprintec...i quit tht pill right after I finished the 2nd pack and imediately they moved me to ocella which i started 4 days later when my period came from stopping tri sprintec.
I still have very moderate acne..my chin is my problem area usually, occasionally my forehead joins the party. i start accutane in about 2 weeks...what can i expect? also is it true that the better shape your face is in when you start it, the less of an initial breakout you get? **** i am on minocycline til the day i start accutane...how does that effect my initial breakout as well? [b]current regimen. -50 mg minocycline -ocella (yasmin bc) -steam face, cerave hydrating cleanser. -witch hazel astringent -ice face, aczone (2 xs a day), diferin 1% gel (at night) -witch hazel astringent throughout the day as needed[/b] |
