Acne scars (5 months later).

This is my current condition. The picture presented here is taken with the same iPod today.

About 5 months ago (February 2013) is when the previous photo was taken with my iPod.

As you can see, things are much better. I have been using very good methods at home to help treat my horrendous hyper-pigmentation.

Always, my acne turns into hyper-pigmentation...and in this case it was the worst. But things are now better and still continuing to get better.

(Btw, my skin is much more red and the hyper-pigmentation is still very visible in real life, the light washes it out.)

My concern now is the rolling scars that you can see in the photo. They are mostly in the middle region of my forehead and they're quite difficult to cover up with makeup.

I don't know if they will ever go away or how to treat them let alone cover them up!

To me, honestly they look horrible and I hate it when I see them in the reflection of the mirror it depresses me..

Please please PLEASE let me know your thoughts and suggestions...it would really mean a lot.

We all go through similar struggles, which is why I love this website so much. Communicating to help one another really does make me happy.

Thank you for reading!

Very nice! What did you do to get so clear? That is AMAZING!!

For those rolling scars why not try a derma roller or I use a derma stamp just on the rolling scars- I'm not too brave and have been going slowly with a 0.5mm stamp, but you could go up to 1.0mm or 1.5mm if it works. I clean my face, use the stamp 5-6 times on each scar then put Super CP serum on right after, but others use topical vitamin C.

For hyperpigmentation look into Dan's AHA or Alpha Hydrox enhanced lotion, they help keep pores clear and fade hyperpigmentation.

Again, great progress, you have come a LONG WAY!

Ah well, basically I have been using Differin to help clear my acne, which caused my acne to have a very bad IB...and so after all of the suffering, I guess the acne decided to sort of dissipate lolol.

I was thinking about the derma roller, but it looks so scary to me! Does it hurt? I've never heard of the derma stamp, that's very interesting. :)

Thank you for the very much for all of the advice, I appreciate a lot! Stay awesome!
