- Album: HELP ME WITH MY ACNE
This is now my left cheek. It's quiet better now but there's still some acnes that must be rid of.....
ohhh what an improvement!!
looks much much better! Keep doing what you are doing and hopefully it will continue to improve. I found that light chemical peels ( I use 20% Salicylic acid from SkinLaboratories) once a week really help dry up active acne and reduce old acne pigmentation. It gets dry and flakey for about 2-3 days then the non-acne skin is smoother, while the active acne is dried up and on the way out. It's a process though and takes 3-4 treatments to start to work really well. Some people can do them more often (like every 4 days) and be fine, but my skin is too sensitive so I only do it once per week. I got mine on Amazon for about $20.
Also, It looks like the tops of your cheeks are more inflamed than the lower part. Is there anything you are doing more or less of in this area? Sometimes more exfoliation happens from the pillow at night, or less medication sits on the lower cheeks. Look into that and see if you can balance it out because near your jaw is clearer than your cheekbones.
Otherwise, it looks like you are doing something right! Much improved! yay!!!
