----------
It's been exactly four weeks since posted my previous picture. To date I've been juicing almost 3 months.
So far?... Meh... not exactly good news, but not bad either.
My skin has gotten even MORE smooth, so that's a huge plus for me.
Unfortunately, cysts have slowly shown up around my mouth, underneath my jaw and neck, and once or twice on my chest and back. There aren't as many as before though, but it's a let down. At least I am able to count them all, so today there's 7 with no more coming up. The one on my mouth just popped last night.
I have NOT reached the three month period on my regime yet, but it's closing in fast. Soon I will.
Personally, I still feel as though some acne will always remain persistent with me no matter what I do. With that said, I have several trials and errors I need to confess:
-As a female, my monthly acne is not preventable, so I will probably always have acne around my mouth (as you can see).
-I have accidentally been eating sugar when I had no idea there was sugar in it (almond milk, nut trail mixes, etc...).
-I do not wash off the small amounts of make up I put on my skin... I rely on my evening shower, water, and towel to do that.
-I do tend to eat a LOT of fruit... I'm talking blueberries, 2-3 apples, a banana, apricots, and other types every single day.
-Twice I didn't juice... on a Sunday three weeks ago and last Friday (I fell short on produce in my fridge).
-I unconsciously touch my face, but because I have every right to. The Acne Stereotype can go to hell, I am NOT a dirty person.
-People have argued against my vigorous exercise regimes, saying that sweating and running is too extreme... maybe it is.
-Since my skin is no longer oily, I've been letting my hair down. Long hair is beautiful, so I have every right to do this.
However, even with these confessions I know I am still getting better... I just wished for those extreme acne depressed people and over-exaggerating acne studying nut jobs out there that you didn't have the see those two pimples around my mouth in this picture. I didn't want to wait another week. School, work, and family life takes up a lot of time, I can only post pictures whenever I get the chance.
Overall, improvement and success is still rising... BUT SLOWLY.
I am accepting the idea that I may need more than three months on the particular regime I am on. My acne is SEVERE as almost all of you will probably agree with since anyone can go through my previous pictures and look at them... perhaps my severity means that I'll need more time. It's hard to tell, but I'm willing to last as long as 6 months on my current regime before moving onto something else. If it ever comes to that, I will not stop juicing. Jucing has made me more healthy and smooth than anything else, but If I could get away with doing it only a few times a week with no vitamins, I'll be a free person.
The only issue I am technically facing right now are my red marks. They are fading away so painstakingly slow that I might as well graduate college and raise a family until they are completely gone. People have requests I try making my own homemade mask with food and spices and everything else, but my decision stands firm... NOTHING goes on my face, and eventually (well... hopefully) that will include any make-up as well.
Thank you guys for you personal messages and comments! I hope you all are doing good as well! Keep up the great work!! ![]()

MY REGIME:
Notable Logs:
07/11/12: Began drinking homemade juice.
07/15/12: Started taking 500 mg of Vitamin B5 (in the morning WITH juice).
07/24/12: Started taking 500 mg of L-Cartinine (in the morning WITH juice).
08/08/12: Oil Production on face vanished. Acne still persistent though.
08/28/12: Added GLUTEN-FREE to Sugar/Dairy-free diet.
09/05/12: No acne for about a week. Left over red spots still remain but face very smooth.
09/29/12: SOME acne snuck up... reviewing diet to find more possible hidden traces of sugar.
Old Vegetable Juice recipe:
-3 to 5 Carrot Sticks (peeled)
-2 to 3 Celery Stick (everything attached)
-1/2 Beet (skin on, leaves cut off for salad)
-1/2 Cucumber (peeled)
-1 Tomato (everything except stem butt)
-1 cm sliced Lemon (everything)
New Vegetable Juice Recipe:
*I change my vegetables every 3 days or so for a new flavor.
*I chose anywhere from 4 to 6 ingredients.
*I no longer "measure" or "weigh" the vegetables, just so long as I juice them.
-Carrots
-Celery
-Beet Root
-Cucumber
-Tomato
-Lemon
-Bell Peppers
-Zucchini
-Butternut Squash
-Anything else I can get my hands on.
Hygiene Regime:
None. Only showering once a day and washing hair every other day.
Diet:
- No Dairy.
- No Sugar (Excluding honey for my hot tea (sometimes), and natural peanut butter as a fruit toping).
- No Gluten.
More:
-(I have finished my bottle of One-A-Day Women's Multivitamin... so it's no longer a part of my diet starting 09/05/12).
- 500mg Vitamin C (Not necessary, just using up the bottle I have).
*I take the Vitamin C several hours later, sometimes late in the evening, so as not to interfere with the B5 and L-Carnitine.
Other:
- Sorry guys and gals, acne doesn't make me depressed nor am I stressed about much of anything else.
- I stretch/exercise around an hour a day and/or run 4-5 times a week. Still building a suitable exercising regime though.
- I get about 20 minutes to an hour worth of direct sunlight (no make-up on) everyday.
- I only wear small amounts of make-up for my job, obviously to cover the largest and reddest of my acne legions.
- I maintain a normal sleep schedule (usually 8 hours a day).
