Day Thirty

Please don't forget to READ MY FAQ's before asking me anything! >;\ ---> http://www.acne.org/...t-day-and-faqs/

I have received news that my older brother has quit taking Accutane. Good for him, the side effects were driving him nuts! However, he is finding it difficult to cope with the possibility of a life changing diet, so he may take a while to come around. He'll change whenever he feels up to it. I wish him the best of luck!! I'll let you guys know what he may or may not be doing soon...

----------

*(NOTE: Someone sent me a message asking me if I still used that Almay's makeup brand I had in one of my other galleries ---> http://www.acne.org/...e/44876-makeup/ . I said yes but not a lot since I only try to hide the biggest and reddest of spots... but I face palmed when they pointed out that it had the salicylic acid and that I was still technically putting chemicals on my face. I updated that picture's description and put my FAQ's link under it for a proper explanation, so for those of you who I recommend that make-up brand I REALLY do apologize a thousand times over, that was completely my fault on my behalf.

Now I use "Neutrogenia - Shine Control". I didn't like choosing this make-up brand because even though it says it "wont over dry skin", it never mentioned whether or not it will "clog the pores".

Also, I hate make-up. Having healthier skin is better than hiding your unhealthy skin, so make-up still makes no sense to me no matter how much other women try to convince me that it's "harmless".

This Neutrogenia brand also has an active ingredient in it known as "Titanium Dioxide" for sun protection. That's not exactly what I need but it's better than trying to put in acne/blemish fighting active ingredients... which we all know by now may actually be making things worse. So I guess Neutorgenia is the best I could come up with. All in all, I am NOT a make-up expert and could care less about it. I'm sure there are bigger and better things out there, especially on the web rather than our corner stores, so if you come across anything else better than that then please let me know and I'll gladly share it with others. Also, please remember that my real goal here is to actually not wear make-up but to clear my acne completely.)

Anyway...

It's -almost- official... my acne is disappearing fast...

... AAAAAANNNND leaving LOVELY dark red spots all over my face to fade away whenever they feel like -_-.

Yeah, so what you see are actually seeing are red spotted "scars", but they are suppose to fade away in time I guess...

Still, my skin is EXTREMELY smooth 0_0. It's almost as smooth as the time when I got off Dan's Regime. Most of the time people with acne have VERY, VERY small bumps all over their face (just like me), but these bumps have either fallen off, turned into acne and vanished, or slowly withdrew themselves.

Here's the overall summary of this week:

-No acne has emerged for more than a week.
-Skin very smooth.
-Some acne still hidden under my chin/jaw, but only about 10 spots left.
-All red spots are flat and smooth on face.
-Body is back to it's normal bathroom break times, which is good news for my bosses and teachers.
-Oil and tightness/dryness in face is still completely gone.

However, I wanted to take something back I said last week about my redness... it SEEMED that my redness was going away, but if I were to catch a glimpse of myself throughout the day at random times, sometimes my face is red and sometimes it's not. I actually have VERY pale skin (which sucks, trust me), so looking at my arm and THEN my face, I can tell that ALL the redness hasn't completely disappeared yet. My face is still -somewhat- inflamed, which is still worrying me a bit. It's creepy, almost like something is fighting to keep the redness alive... like a slowly flickering lightbulb in a horror movie *shutter*.

... So I guess that'll be it for a while! Yep! No more picture updates unless I notice a significant change in my red spots... or if my regular acne decides to come back for some obscure reason. I certainly hope not!

So I wish you all the best of luck kiddies and I'll update my picture in about a month or so if and when these spots decide to fade away. From past experience they take a great deal of time to do so, but patience is a virtue and less make-up is always a bonus to me. Until next time!

Diet:
- No Dairy.
- No Sugar (Excluding honey (tea) and natural peanut butter (fruit topping)).
- No Gluten.

More:
-(I have finished my bottle of One-A-Day Women's Multivitamin... so it's no longer a part of my diet starting 09/05/12).
- 500mg Vitamin C (Not necessary, just using up the bottle I have).
*I take the Vitamin C several hours later, sometimes late in the evening, so as not to interfere with the B5 and L-Carnitine.

Other:
- Sorry guys and gals, acne doesn't make me depressed nor am I stressed about much of anything else.
- I stretch/exercise around an hour a day and/or run 4-5 times a week. Still building a suitable exercising regime though.
- I get about 20 minutes to an hour worth of direct sunlight (no make-up on) everyday.
- I only wear small amounts of make-up for my job, obviously to cover the largest and reddest of my acne legions.
- I maintain a normal sleep schedule (usually 8 hours a day).

Really glad to hear your skin is improving. I hope the red marks go away quickly for you :) I definately see a big difference! You are looking well. Keep smiling, you have a lovely smile! x
They all look dried!! Your skin is getting a lot better. If your skin is smooth, it is a good sign. My skin is getting better because it's been smooth! I only have 2 active ones near eyebrows, but they formed a week ago. I haven't broke out much.
