How's it going?
Blue laser/ipl treatments do wonders for severe acne by killing off all the pea bacteria that causes the break outs. You would need about 2 treatments a week for 4 weeks. Clenziderm from Obagi also is a wonderful acne product that doesn't burn your skin like Proactive and other Benzoyl peroxide products do, which can keep your skin clear.
