@BeckaB I feel really good about Fraxel Laser treatments.. Honestly, they are NOT an overnight miracle; but they have, over time, improved the appearance of my skin and I do see significant differences in my scars. Also, the down time is minimal - I am reddish/pink skinned for about 2 days after, then for about 3-4days I am a little "peely", like if I got a sun burn.. and then it starts to slowly fall off when you wash your face. It's not so heavy and I can go about living my life, which is the thing I like most about the Fraxel. It has made my face much less "bumpy" but I am still battling the deeper scars (ice-pick scars) that will take some more treatments.. Like I said, I still have more treatments to go, and I'll probably be doing them for the rest of my life, because even after treating scars, Fraxel is a great way to rid of fine lines and wrinkles without being extreme, like Botox and other procedures. I recommend it, but just be weary it will take a few treatments to see results and they can be costly! I spend about $750 for each treatment, and many centers charge much more than that, at around $1000 a session!
