Hey! do you know how long the down time is? It must be pretty hard to have skin like this before it gets better. I know I would be terrified! Im sure it will be worth it though!

Hun, I hope your product starts to work soon. You really are a remarkably pretty girl, and that acne is just hiding away that beauty. You have my best wishes.

Hi there,

You've been very brave to put yourself through what looks like some pretty hardcore treatment. Hope you are healing well and feeling better. I'm sure that everyone would love to see the results so far. I truly hope you end up with a great result. I have acne scarring and so I know how soul destroying it can be.

Take care.

Tony

You guys are so unbelievably awesome. Thank you SO MUCH for your wonderful posts! smile.png

It's been 3 years since the scar revisions. The changes were subtle. The Deep FX laser left some scarring under my left eye (brown spots). It seemed to tighten pores and some of the smaller pock marking. It did not leave me looking normal, I still have significant scarring... and unfortunately, after thousands of dollars in scar revision surgery and 4 runs of Accutane, THE CYSTIC ACNE RETURNED!!!!! With a vengeance.

Not to fret. It has been a couple of years and I have been doing plenty of research. I also discovered that some of my root canals (some had been retreated 4 times) were ABCESSED (I could have died). I had suffered through several years of recurrent UTI's (bladder infections) which I got every 2 weeks. I also was constipated and could only poop hard black pellets once every 10-14 days. I was gaining weight, my body ached, and my skin was screaming.

I found juicing. Gerson therapy. Raw honey. Kim chee. Chlorella. Raw milk. I had all 5 of my root canaled teeth removed (yes now I am missing a couple teeth... lame!) I started working out and got pretty buff. I lost 50 pounds. I still broke out, but alo less. Then...I REMOVED MY AMALGAM FILLINGS WITH A HOLISTIC / MERCURY-FREE / BIOLOGICAL DENTIST (not a regular dentist!!!)

Ever since removing my amalgam 2 months ago I have barely broken out! My red scars are fading. I am thinking clearly. I am doing slow detox. I will post new pictures.

The down time was about 2-3 weeks, though I had to stay out of the sun for much longer. The full results post-laser could be seen around 1 year while the collagen rebuilt under the epidermis.

The first couple nights I had to sleep sitting up, and my face "dripped" blood and the petroleum-based lubricant that melted under the heat of my face. The first couple days my face was swollen and in various stages of swelling, bruising, and scabbiness.
