keloid scars.
no, they are called keloids.
thanks for telling me
oh, didn't read your thing. You can do a treatment yourself. What I did was peeled it and it went away a few months. I have one more to go and i'm clear.
i also have these...thought i was the only one
what is this peeling method??!
lolling at your name.
keloids are a real bitch, i have a HUGE one on my leg from this time i cut it on a garbage can lid. never cared much about getting rid of it, it's like on the side of my leg by my knee so shorts cover it, but if anyone knows how to get rid of it, post it up. it got a little smaller over time, but not by much.

My comment got lost somewhere and I don't want to type it all up again. However, the long and short of it is that these types of scars can be drastically improved. I have a lot of them too, but I have other kinds that aren't as easily improved. Cortisone injections will flatten out the raised keloids completely. This is covered by insurance. My doctor is also suggesting vbeam treatments for the redness that still remains when they flatten and that combination will greatly improve the look of the scar, all covered by insurance. It's great!
