Hmm...I'm not sure which treatment is best for those kinds of scars, but have you ever considered trying Panoxyl's 10% bp body wash to treat current break outs? I've used the stuff for the past week and a half and have seen a HUGE improvement....

    Just a thought....

    Good luck!

thanks turbojet! but there are hardly any more breakouts, just the scars... but thanks for the comment!
I have a lot of scars similar to this and a lot not similar to this. As far as treatments, I think you actually have the kind that can be most improved. They injected my raised scars like that with cortisone and they flattened right out. They did become a bit more red but that will probably fade. They also suggested I do vbeam treatments for redness and this combination can work really well for these scars. You have a lot of options buddy. The best part was these kind of scars are covered by insurance, make sure you talk about that with anyone you see because not all doctors realize this.
    i feel yah dude
    mine is waaaaaaaayyyy worse
i have on my chest , shoulder, and back
    i reallllyyyyyyyy sucks!! :D
Yo man, Im in the same situations that you are in, i have them all over my back and on my chest. I went to the derm and for 2 years now i have been injecting cortison into them, it sorta helped... but not as much as this new thing that my new derm just tryed out on me. Its flattening these bitches like crazy. Ask your doctor about combining Triamcinolone and 5-Fluorouracil, it works like a charm man.... seriously.... iv seen better improvements in 3 months then the cortison in 2 years...... and that says alot. He might have to order it, and if you research it on google, you can probally find something. Im actually going in to get a pulsed dye laster treament also. my derm said that this will improve the color! so wish me luck... and good luck to you also.... serioulsy tho.. ask him about triamcinolone and 5-fluorouracil combined together.
