I've started using Paula's Choice 8% AHA and Paula's Choice 1% Retinol to combat pitted scarring, damaged pores, and hyperpigmentation due to years of cystic acne. My actual breakouts are very infrequent, but it's time to get rid of the uneven texture.
I’ve been super consistent with my current skincare routine for over 3 months now and I’m SO happy with the results. It’s helping me get rid of my acne scars and hyperpigmentation much quicker and without using harsh products.
I've been adding vitamin c serum, black soap and more natural products to help lighten my scars.
I got this scar from aggressively squeezing a zit when I waas 15. I'm now 28 and though it's not red anymore, it grows a bit deeper every year it seems as I inevitably end up squeezing oil out of it.
I "spackle" it daily with a pore minimizer to make it less noticable and light catching.
Does anyone have advice for how to treat it? From what I"m reading CTA Cross would be the best bet. Does anyone with experience have input on whether this is a good candidate scar for that treatment?
