I'm just now beginning to realize not only do my hormones play a role but also what I eat and drink. I've cut back on soda and I drink more water. I also cut out milk and now i drink almond milk. I cut back on cheese and the only meat I eat now is chicken. My skin care regimen is as follows: Morning: I wash my face with The Body Shop tea tree oil cleanser and use the body shop toner after it dries. Night time: I wash my face with biore because it really gives ur face a clean feel and sometimes I use a spin brush with it if I wore makeup that day. After it dries, I put a little bio oil on my face and then I put some Cortizone cream on my new acne not on my entire face.
This is my experiment with Caveman Regimen. I just do a water splash for 4 to 5 seconds in the morning. I am not using cleansers, moisturisers or any other chemical skin products. When I shampoo my hair, I try to keep the shampoo off my face as it's too harsh and that's the difficult part.
Please please please Help! I've started having a massive breakout around my mouth area. It started out of nowhere (my acne was mild before). The cysts are really deep and painful.
I have cut out dairy and I'm reducing sugar but nothing is helping! I'm using BP on it, but nothing is working! Also on yasmin (and have been for a year)
Any idea what could have caused this??
Let me give a background about myself. I'm 37 year old. I used to have clear skin but recently my skin started to break. I get these small bumps under my skin that are turing in to cystic acne. I tried using Benzoyl and Salicylic acid. Both made my skin worse. I went to see a derm, she gave me Minocycline and Finacea gel. Finacea failed, gave me acne on places I didn't have before. So I stopped using all topical stuff and turned to Laser treatment. While this is still in progress, I would like to share my photos. Please feel free to comment or ask me anything. I'll try my best to answer :)
