Spiro

I was thinking about asking my derm for spiro. I get 6-7 new cysts a week before I start each month and a few more the first couple days.

I have pics in my gallery. For anyone who has had success with spiro, was your acne as bad as mine?

My two concerns with starting it are one that my skin is already so dry. Not just my face but my skin overall. This is due to taking tetra. I haven't taken it in months but my skin never returned to normal. I also had a very bad reaction to the tetra and it took months and months to go away. My second concern is that I don't drink any water. I do drink plenty of liquids daily (mountain dew) but I just can't do water.

What do you guys think?

Hair appt tomorrow

Hi everyone

I currently have very long hair (almost waiste length) and I am planning to get it cut short tomorrow morning. I have had long hair for 7 years and feel I am due for a change. I am scared to get it all cut off because if it doesn't look right, I know it will take forever to grow back. Below are a few pictures. Which haircut do you guys think would look best? Or should I not even cut it?

Lymph Nodes

I don't know if this has anything to do with acne but I have noticed that mine on bothe sides of my neck are swollen. No one else can see them but I feel like I can and if I lay my head sideways, the left side really sticks out. I can also feel them. I haven't been sick so I am wondering if it has anything to do with the acne cysts? I usually have 5 between both cheeks and 1 or 2 on my neck at all times. I have shown them to my GP before and she says not to worry and thought maybe it was due to sinus problems (which I don't think I have). I made an appt. with her for Monday so she can check them out again. I don't think they should stay enlarged for so long and when googleing it, the only thing that keeps popping up is lymphomia.

Dry Skin

I would think oil would be the problem but my face is so dry. I do not use any topical or oral meds. I was my face with cetaphil for sensitive skin and for the past couple days have been using oil of olay face lotion. I was just tweezing my eyebrows and noticed that it was making my skin aroung them flake off. Any ideas on a good moisterizer that won't make me break out?

Hello everyone

I am trying to decide if I should give the differin a real try. I think last time I only used it for about a month and only every three days so I don't think that was giving it much of a shot to work. I still have 2 full tubes of it (they are the 1%) cream.

Or maybe I should ask for accutane. I am scared to death of the side effects and my skin is overall really dry anyways.

Any thoughts or suggestions as to which route I should go? Is my acne too bad for differin? I can not take antibiotics because I am allergic to some and end up itching like crazy from yeast.
