After seeing a lot of questions in regards to appropriate dosing and adequate levels, I made a dosing utility that calculates a whole bunch of Accutane-related statistics.
It's pretty simple. All you need to do is fill in your course, course duration, and weight. The program will take care of the rest! Features: 1) It computes all the test statistics for you and indicates your standing in relation to the recommended guidelines. 2) There is also a sheet that grants you the opportunity to track your bloodwork. It takes all your data and maps out your progress on a graph in real-time. 3) It also tracks the total cost of the prescription. 4) The calculator also offers an option to derive a course of varying lengths and strengths. Totally customizable. Here are some screenshots: I hope that this allows some users the opportunity to track their course EASILY! If you see anything else that you would like integrated, shoot me a PM and I'll get cracking on it! Here is the link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1WOLYSG5 Good luck!

read this in the paper today:
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=206...id=aRyzfbTsj3h8 "Roche Holding AG, the world’s biggest maker of cancer drugs, is pulling its Accutane acne medicine from the U.S. market after juries awarded at least $33 million in damages to users who blamed the drug for bowel disease. Roche notified the U.S. Food and Drug Administration today that it was withdrawing Accutane after a “reevaluation” of its product lines showed it faced serious challenges from generic competitors, company officials said in a statement... ...The drug also has been pulled off the market in 11 other countries including France, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Portugal, Norway and Spain, Rosenstock said. She couldn’t provide dates for those withdrawals." - Bloomberg News as far as i have heard, the generics will continue to produce and distribute the drug. i would only expect a package insert to now include IBD and bowel problems. pretty crazy stuff.

a/s/l? 21/m/jersey. im glad thats out of the way.
to start things off, here's a list of everything tried (not all at once, haha): Triaz, Zoderm, Neobenz, Ziana, Solodyn, Adoxa, Clean and Clear, PC BHA, Proactiv, Cetaphil, Aveeno, Toleriane. and finally, here is a log about a dive headfirst into the somewhat unforeseen world of accutane. First dosage starts tomorrow with 20mg of Sotret for the next month. The cost? Well, for those who are curious, it was $148 without submitting the claim to the insurance company yet. i thought it would've have been much worse. it's cheaper than the antibiotics i've gotten filled. at least i dont have to sell the prize-winning cow to make the sotret payment, lol. i've got my chapstick and moisturizer ready to go. anyone else starting around now? |
