Hey up, im the new girl

Hey up everyone,

Im 25 from the UK. Im very pleased to find out im not the only one who is fed up and frustated with acne, still waiting to grow out of the teenage stuff! I guess it shows having message boards like this how acne does effect peoples lives alot, and its beginning to hold me back on certain things.

My acne isnt half as bad as some peoples but its become quite cystic over the last few years and im scaring now. I think having had it for 12 years and it getting worse no matter what i throw at it, has left me very discouraged. I think mainly because im at the point when alot of my perfect skined friends are getting married its made me think about my skin more....i just dont want to be worrying if i will be having a bad skin day on my own wedding day (im asuming i will get married one day haha)!!! I guess that sounds quite superficial, but its become my dream (silly i know).

I think i will use this message board to vent my niggles, as i dont have anyone who understands what its like for bumpy faced people.
