cleared up very late into my course. at month 5 wk2.

my acne was pretty bad...almost severe. things went downhil at the beginin of the year and now im acne free. i started accutane in april and i broke out terribly throught almost my entire course. i cleared up exactly 2 wks before month 6 in october. i didnt think i was every goin to clear up but i did. now, im acne free so there is still a possibility you may too. my derm suggested to continue tane for another 2 months...howerver im currently off the tane bcuz ipledge messed things up but i will be back on it sometime next wk (i hope). btw i loveeeed accutane...side effects weren't that bad, i wanted clear skin so i didnt care much aobut the side effects. i hope my story gives you some hope and relief. i kno how hard it can be...i still haven't fully recovered psychologically bcuz acne really messed me up in the head.

althou im acne free, i have some redmarks and some shallow scars which i hope go away soon or at least get better with time. im in no rush..as long as i have clear skin. its so much easier to put on make up now and so.

month5 wk 1 ....breakin out badly.

i saw my derm about a wk ago for my 5th month appt. n he got a lil worried; however, he said i was gona clear up n not too worry so much. he also said i may have to go for another month or two.
im still breakin out alot especially on my cheeks. i seriously don't kno wut to do nor wut to think. i've lost all my faith in this pill....the only reason im still takin this pill is bcuz i haven't had any serious side effect but dry lips or else i would've prob. stopped takin it.

is there stll a chance i may clear up ? i kno some ppl dont see results till the end of course, but i dk. im desperate.

tingling/numbness hands??

ok im a lil scared now. i just hope this is one of accutane side effects that arent mentioned.... yesterday, my pinky finger was a lil numb for about an hour...it wasn't that bad so didn't really pay anythin attention to it, thou it i thought it was a lil weird bcuz i tried massaging it n still was a lil numb..it went away about an hr later....

n just now im feeling this tingly/numbness sensation on both of my hands/fingers.....i just hope its nothin bad, but i dont kno what to think now..this is not normal... could it be a sign of diabetes , stroke, or wut? or accutane side effect???

if this continues, i thin im goin to my see my doc. this monday bucz this is not normal..is it ?

ok here's my story...
i started ortho tri cyclen a month before starting accutane n continued takin it for until almost month 2 of accutane...however, i stopped takin bcp bcuz i noticed i was gainin weight. i didnt think i needed to be in any type of bcp so why take it...i thought accutane was gona solve all my acne problems.
however, i think the bcp i took durin the 1st two months really helped my skin bcuz my cysts disappeared very quickly....i thought it was the accutane. i began breakin out badly again after i stopped takin the bcp.
so now that im on month 4 1/2.....n i dont know if it would be a good idea to start on bcp again...unfortunaly im stil breakin out n i kno accutane sometimes doesnt work until the end of course, but i was wonderin that if maybe i start on bcp again, then my skin will get better sooner....

will it be ok to start on bcp at the middle accutane treatment?
if so, what type of bcp should i take? than wont make me gain weight?

also, my derm. doesnt kno im not on bcp or else he'd take me off Accutane....so who should i ask??? i dont think my gynycologist would know. (he doesnt kno anythin about accutane).

please help me here. im goin crazy!!!Literately!.

4months into Tane or more.....n still breaking out???

i really hope all u tane users are clearin up but i also hope im not the only battlin this inferno by myself....about to be my 5th month in 2wks n im still breakin out....actually i was started to see better results but since yesterday i have been breakin out terribly n i think i may gettin cysts again...???? could it be because that time of the month is gettin close or wut?? ahhhh
im goin to myderm tmorro for some injections.

when did u guys start seein results? i really hope im at least somewhat clear by month 6th!.
