Hi everyone,

I have some very mild you have to look really up close and scrutinize my skin shallow scarring. Will a stronger TCA peel (not talking about TCA CROSS) improve them? Has anyone tried? What were the results? I see some websites, including doctor's websites, that mention that improving shallow scarring is one of the benefits of a TCA Peel but I wanted some anecdotal review too.

Thanks!

I am not sure if a tca peel would help or not. theres glycolic peels also which could be an option. Just my opinion here, I always feel its best to start with the least harsh methods. if you can improve your scaring with less harsh methods thats a good thing. tca peels should be done less frequently while glycolic peels can be done weekly. you can start with lighter peels and work your way up. Not saying glycolic peels are the best option but just throwing out options for you to look into. also I am doing a derma roller treatment. its a tool that has a roller on it and small needles that penetrate the skin and are supposed to help improve your skin ie scars. I am using 1.5mm which is a larger size, but I have bad scaring. you can by lesser sizes that can be done daily as a way to help your skin improve its ability to take in topicals ect.. Ive only done 2 treatments with my derma roller so its to soon to tell as far as results go. another option you can look into. i'm sure others will jump in and offer advice that can help you. good luck..
