In two weeks I'll be driving 3 hours to hopefully have a consultation followed by the treatment. My question is about tha test patch. Will she do a quick test patch and look for immediate issues, and then give me the full treatment. Or will I have to wait a few weeks and go back? i realllly just want to get it done right away.... especially since i already asked for few days off work since i work in the sun.. and its summer., btw, i have very pale skin, with no tan.. just a lot of red marks.

Almost my entire face is red. I have zero scars on my cheeks, chin or forehead, but they are red, red and red, like I’m sun burnt. Because over 5 years between age 12 and 18 (im 25 now), every small pimple I got left a red mark that never went away. ...but you can tell it’s a strange acne scar and not sun burn.
So, surely im an absolutely perfect candidate for Vbeam? I'm on a disability pension right now because I have brain radiation necrosis and therefore cannot afford to waste money. So im looking for advice about Vbeam. Does anyone think this will help me reduce the redness?

Hi, i've been reading the posts here for a while, and never got around to signing up.
I'm 25 and havn't had active acne for years. I credit this to my diet. Nearly every single pimples i got as a teenager resulted in an icepick scar. And unfortunately at age 16, a neurologist put me on a high dose of steroids which covered me in pimple which scared and I ended up with a permanent physical disability at the same time. I went from someone who was at least somewhat attractive to someone who.. you know the story. What i have is a severe case of icepick scars. I have so many icepick scars that parts of my face are red as if i were sunburnt, except for under my eyes where i have none, making an obvious contrasting line as if got a sunburnt face while wearing sunglasses. I have icepick scars so close to others that they joined together. start doing a 18% TCA peel over my entire face every 3 months in the hope of eliminating very shallow icepicks perhaps making the other icepicks a little shallower. .. or something. I'll use Super Cop 2X once per day in the hope that it will reduce the icepicks in some way over a year. I'll exfoliate my face every day before hand. I'm worried that the icepick scars will look bigger after i do a peel, but i think i'll take the chance. I read somewhere that tea tree oil can reduce the redness of scars, is this true? Does any product reduce scar redness? I'd be happy to keep the scars if i could fade the redness. I'm seriously considering tanning my face (which is pale) at a tanning sallon to attemp to reduce the contrasting redness. i know it sound like a bad idea, but i'll do anything at this point. |
