I've been using dan's AHA at night for about 2 weeks, and it's going pretty well, but I was wondering if using it twice a day would give me any real benefits over continuing with once a day. I have some discoloration, red marks etc that I'm trying to fade and I would like to get there as quickly as possible. The AHA makes my skin feel pretty good too so I was thinking about using it twice a day, but wanted to check first to see if it's recommendable.

about 6 or 7 weeks ago I had a BIG pimple (i'd say almost a cyst) on my cheek, which is very, very rare (only one in a LONG time) and I tried to take good care of it, but still, it left a pinkish-red bump (i can't feel it, but it looks sort of raised)
im using AHA (2 weeks now) and I was wondering if it would smooth it out any, I know AHA is said to work on red marks but I've never seen any info on "smoothing" thanks a lot

I've been using Dan's 10% AHA for spot treatment for a while, but for about the last 5 or so days I've used it at night all over, to try and fade the red/brown marks that I have left over. (there are a lot, they aren't very big, just numerous) and I was wondering how long it took others to see results using the AHA. It gets rid of some of my flakeyness so I don't mind using it, but I was just curious.
thanks.

Ok, I know it says not to use them "at the same time" but does this mean literally on top of one another, or can I use the hydroquinone in the morning and the BP at night, separately?
alternatively, do you think dan's AHA would do the same as the hydroquinone? I'm just trying to fade 2 dark spots, they aren't really red, they're darker than that, sort of purplish. I know people say it works on red spots but I haven't heard anything about this. |
