Over the weekend I decided to give Revlon Custom Creations a whirl. I do not like it thus far.

It does NOT offer the same full coverage as colorstay does, I can clearly see some of my red marks coming through on the cheek that is the worst. Also, it's almost as though it enhances the uneven texture of my skin instead of correcting it. But the worst is that it oxidizes so quickly into an orange mess! The hardest thing for me seems to be finding a foundation that matches my neck, why must this be so difficult?! I'm seriously going to have a meltdown.

Some of you say the cheaper drugstore foundations oxidize more than the expensive brands. I really hope this is true, I am done with drugstore foundations until i can find one that does NOT oxidize. I think i'm at my breaking point. eusa_boohoo.gif

I went to two different Target stores and I did not see it anywhere, does someone know if it's now discontinued?

I hope not, because I liked it!

I have dry and sensitive skin, it's gotten less sensitive throughout the years, but I have to monitor my skin really closely to make sure that products such as BP don't make it red, raw, and irritated.

I've been on antibiotics for almost two months and I want to get off them by the end of this month, i'd like to transition to something like Retin-A for maintenance. I was left with a lot of red marks and some comedonal acne on my cheeks. You can see a bunch of small under the skin bumps when i'm in the sun and underneath my makeup.

From what I have read on here Retin-A makes people's skin peel and flake really badly, especially if you use too much too soon.

Is asking my derm for it a really bad idea, has anyone with dry and sensitive skin had good results from Retin-A?

Any other retinoid recommendations? I was thinking I might try mandelic acid or Retin-A.

This past weekend I let my BF see my red marks, this is a HUGE milestone for me.

In the past i've had boyfriends who NEVER saw me without makeup. I never let them. I've had red marks for a very long time, when they start to fade i'll get a new breakout and the cycle will start all over again. It's so frustrating!

Anyway, i've always been really embarrassed about my skin. In one relationship I had where the guy was an absolute jerk he made fun of me for my acne. I kind of pushed his buttons that day though, LOL so I probably deserved the backlash.

Now, i'm in a much more loving relationship where I feel safe. I let my BF see my red marks this past weekend while I was doing my morning routine. We talked about acne, and even though I was still slightly uncomfortable the fact that I was letting him see me without makeup was a huge step for me!

Yay!

Hi folks,

I have successfully gotten rid of most of my big cysts, I am on antibiotics but will be off of them by mid-June.

Anyway, I am now left with tons of red marks and tiny bumps that sit on top of my red marks, has this ever happened to anyone? They look inflamed because they are on top of my red marks, but they're really not inflamed. I can see these bumps in the sunlight and underneath my makeup.

I just ordered some samples of Paula's Choice BHA 1% lotion, my skin is sensitive and dry so I thought I would start of with 1%.

If you guys look at my gallery you can see the little bumps underneath my makeup. Also, there is one big bump in the center that used to be a huge cyst, but it's flattened significantly. How can I get it to flatten completely?

Thanks for your help with this, i'm not happy with my skin at all and i'm really tired of wearing globs of foundation just to look 'normal.'

Hi!
your skin is a lot like mine.
my skin improved the most when I used selenium sulfide on my face. some of my acne was caused by an overgrowth of candida (this can be caused by a high carb diet.)
if you look around my profile you can find a lot of helpful tips that aren't hard to stick to. but i don't mean to impose either.
