Selective Photothermolysis

Has anyone seen the 2006 information on selective photothermolysis to permanently destroy sebaceous glands?

Dr. Rox Anderson of the Wellman Center for Photomedicine has done 2 yrs of research and testing on this new laser to cure acne. No new information has been published since Dec. 2006.

Does anyone have any newer information they might share? Is anyone from the Boston area and knows of this work firsthand? What is delaying the approval of this technology if the technical and biological issues have been solved?

Just thought someone might have some insight beyond the published reports. Please share what you can.
