So I have read a couple of posts on the org that have included a person being told some "cure" by a stranger who noticed their acne.
I have thought, "Wow I would be embarrassed" This happened to me today: While I was working in the fitting room at my job a woman calls me over into the changing room and asks "What are you using on your face?" I blushed because it was a little embarrassing, I have started taking minocycline earlier this week so my skin was worse than usual. I explain to her that's what I am using and why my skin was so irritated (She had acne scars so I wasn't too weirded out in explaining) She then proceeds to tell me that I should go to Brooklyn, and there is a woman named Angel who makes the best masks for acne I'm skeptical, so I ask how she heard of her. She said a friend approached her. Then she proceeded to tell me that it's "Not too late, you don't have any scarring, unlike me. My acne was worse than yours and she cleared it right up. Try to see her!" ::Note self-esteem plummeting:: So that's where the cure is guys! Some woman named Angel who works out of her house Get at her ::Note sarcasm:: |

Really you're not even going to try? didn't you even ask what's in them? if it worked for her...?

Really you're not even going to try? didn't you even ask what's in them? if it worked for her...? Would YOU? I might try to find out a little more but I sure as heck wouldn't pin all my hopes on what some woman in a shopping mall says. I don't know her, her qualifications or even if she really USED the services of this 'Angel'. For all we know, she could have been cleared by Accutane and now stumps for this Angel person. |

ha. I've had customers talk to me about my acne whilst working the fitting rooms at work. Its embarrassing and demotivating to have a complete stranger point out your acne even if they are being helpful! Working in retail sucks when you have acne

Yeah guys
Sorry if I raised your hopes or anything but I think it's a hoax I didn't ask for the number or anything I asked what was in the masks and she couldn't tell me specifically Basically, she was claiming this woman was working out of her home Not the best idea to go to some woman's home in Brooklyn lol |
