Copper Peptides & Saliylic Acid Post Accutane

I am off Tane now over a year but got scarring as most of you know right now from an IPL done 2 months off Tane. Well today is the 1 year anniversery of the day I did the IPL.

I want to dermaroll but am terrified to do more damage to my skin. I am doing the Red/Infa red LED lights and I just ordered Copper Peptides and Exoderm (2% Saliylic Acid) from Skin Bio.

I know that Lamarr say he was not that impressed w/ Copper Peptides but he did notice a slight refinement of his pores. Well I would be sooooo happy with that because most of my scarring is enlarged/scarred pores. I was wondering if Lamarr used the Exoderm Serum with the Peptides and if they are safe on my skin now Post Tane. I know that Retin A is definately a no no and had assh**e docs precribe it to me telling me it would make make scars better.

But I don't know if Saliylic Acid is ok. I don't want it to make my rolling, and saucer and other including my pitted scars and enlarged pores worse!!!


I know that you guys might just say dermaroll and use terpoline but I am too scared still.

The Copper Peptides is supposed to promote healing and colegen formation like terpoline (probably not as well) and the saliylic acid is supposed to get rid of scar tissue.

Anyone have an opinion on this. I know people say that peels make their pores worse so is saliylic acid like a peel will it make things worse.

I don't know if I can just use the Copper peptides by themselves without some kind of thing to break down scar tissue. Same thing with the teropline I don't think it will help with remolding by itself without doing some kind of breaking down of scar tissue. I just don't know what is safe to do right now.

I also read people who took tane don't do as well the Copper Peptides becasue Tane changes the way your skin is that is why I am afraid to dermaroll I don't know if my skin will heal properly yet. Enen Lamarr said the the first time he dermarolled he made things worse becaude it was too soon.

Pease advise if you have any experience with Cooper Peptides and Saliyic acid post Tane

Still Scarring After Accutane Please Advise!!!!!

My assh**e doc put me on Accutane for some blackheads I had on the sides of my nose and cheeks. I thought this might be overkill and asked him if he was sure it was safe. He said totally safe just don't get pregnant while on it. Great I went on 40 for 5 months my skin looked so good blackheads puirged and the enlarged pores caused by them shrunk. I never looked better. I had brown and red spots on my skin so I had to push it and wanted these gone. The doc said we should do an IPL. Went I a went to book IPL that doc was booked so I went to another doc for the IPL. I was only off Tane for 2 months and I know that you are not supposed to do any tpye of laser for at least 6 months after Tane but the doc said thatthat the IPL was safe. While after little less than two months after the IPL I stated scaring. That was July 20 2008 and I still have not stopped scaring. My whole texture of my skin has changed I got pock marks turning uyp where I never had acne and my poresare all scarring.

Needless to say I am a totla wreck I am trying to get a lawyer to take my case but it seems that if you don't look totally like a burn victim they don't want to take your case. When I went back to the first Doc that put me on Tane and he saw only a few of my scars he said I had a $100,000 law suit that was many scars agI am much worst now but thew lawyers say that they have to spend $40,000 and 4 to5 years working on the case so it is not worth it for them

At first I wanted to sue the doc who did the IPL because he should have known not to do it just 2 months after tane. Now I want to sue the Doc who put me on Tane as well. Tane is suposeed to be only used in extreme cases of cystic nodule acne that has been resistent to all other methods.

This bastard put me on it for blackheads!!!!!!!!!! He never told me of the risks of further scaring and that Tane changes your skin for years and years!! Ther are people on this board reporting scaring where they never would have scarred 5 years off Tane.

If I was told that I would have never opted to take it. As I understand it there is such thibg as conformed consent or something like that the doc is responsible to tell you of all the side evffects befohand.

I was wondering if you think I have a case against either doctor. Do you know of any cases where people sued for being damaged but Tane in this manner and won. I am sooo scarred up I am suicidal can't work can't leave the house don't look in the mirror for days at a time.

Someone wrote me and said that if I got scaring no matter how minor I would be able to sue this I am not fonding to be true. I just can't believe these doctors would be this reckless with people's lives just for a dollar and I can't believe that they can ruin someones life and the person can't do anything about it.

P. It ha been a year since I have been off tane and still scaring I want to try to do something but terrified I will make it worse. Want to try needling 1 scarred pore or Dermarllinga small area but still too scared to even do that

Please advise if you have any info on this matter

Saline Injections What is the real Deal!!!!!!!

As you guys probalby now by now I am trying to get rid of scarring, enlarged pores, scared pores and atrophic scars caused by an IPL done too soon after Accutane. I am soooo scared to do anything else that might make by skin worse. I am going to wait more time off Accutane and then I wanted to try Dermarolling or Saline Injections. I am afriad Dermarolling might do some damage because of the crazy state that my skin is in so i real feel that the safest thing would be saline injections to try to raise the area.

A lot of people say that it works. They state that they went to Dr. Sire or did it themselves and it work to raise and improve scars and pits. What I am totally confused about is the fact that if this method does work why the hell aren't ANY other doctors doesing it. I mean I did Interdermal Botox that didn't work and you could find a handful of doctors that did it. It seems NO OTHER DOCTOR BUT SIRE DOES IT. I don't get it. I know that you can make the agreement that it does not generate a lot of money like lasers so doctors are not into doing it but to find NO ONE ELSE!!!!!!
And it is not a new procedure Dr. Sire seems to have been doing it since 2002. So what gives.

As anyone tried this lately and is it working. You don't see anything on the boards about it. You see needling, dermarolling and other stuff but not this.
Please try to give me some insight into this. I really want to try it and am thinking of going out to see Dr Sire in Cali becuase I am afraid to do it myself but it is not really practical becasue you have to go a few times spaced outs by a couple of weeks and I live in New York. I know that when I called theri offiece awhile ago they said that a Doctor in New Jeresy was doing it and I know there is a person on this board who lives in NJ and wants to get it done and asked if there is anytone in NJ that does it so apparently he can't find themn either.

I am going to call Dr. Sire's office again to see if they can tell me the name of that Doctor. They would just tell me to google it and I would find it but I did that and didn't.

If I get any info I will report back and please tell me anything info you have about this procedure.

Intradermal Botox Has Anyone done it Does it Work

I am desparate to get rid/shrink my enlarged open pores on my nose and cheeks. My Doc put me on tane to erid me of my blackheads and to stop the enlarged pores from my sides of my nose and cheeks to continue and spread to my front of my nose. Well guess what the Tane did purge all the blackheads and oil from my nose pores and cheeks leaving me with almost pores free skin. Yeah for like a couple of months!! An asshole doc did an IPL o me 2 months off Tane and then shortly after that I started getting spontanous scariing and enlarge pores coming up everwhere worse than ever before. Now they have talken over not only my cheeks and sides of my nose but now theey are on the front!!!!!

I have read that this Intradermal Botox works by injecting Botox into the skin were it freezes the oil gland from producing oil and as a result the pores shrink. It has also been stated that the Botox aslo acts to relax the small muscles in the pilia that are resonsible for your pore size and it then closes. Does this make sense to anyone. Do you think it would work. I have had Botox for wrinkles and it works great but can pores really close by relaxing the muscle!!! I thought it was the skin that was stretched and had nothing to do with the muscle.

The part about stopping oil production makes sense to me and I believe if you have enlarges pores because they are stretched out because of the oil in them then I would think this would definately work because it did for me when I was on Tane. But now I think my pores and more scared or opened not because of oil so i don't know if it would work.

Doc doing this are Doc Karmran S. Jafri in New York City and Dr. Rullan i think in Chicago (not sure) The pics on Dr. Jafri's website look like they might have been Photoshoped. The afters all seem lighter in skin color so i don't know what is up with that.

Please Check out the site and tell me what you think and please if you have any experience or knowledge on this please share it. I am desparate for this to work but don't want to be taken advantage of and wate more money on something that doesn't work.
