30% glycolic acid

I'm about to order 30% glycolic acid. So I'm wondering if you guys don't mind giving some tips and advice about applying this product. Things like: what is the downtime, how much skin is peeled, what should I apply afterwards.

I am using it on my nose, because it gets very oily, also I have open pores so the oil collects in there and it is really gross. I also have so of a little crater (1.2 mm in diameter, and around 1.3 mm in depth) in the middle of my nose, which is bothering me a lot, and I am hoping that the acid will make it disappear.

PS I have been using Retin-A for the pass 10 months

Shallow vs Deep Scarring

Does anybody have any picks of shallow and deep scarring? I need to see a pictures of the two types of scarring to see which one I have. I have been on Retin-A for 9 months now and I don't see a difference. My skin looks a little bit better, but I have a scarred pore on my nose that looks disgusting. I told my derm about it, but he said 9 months ago that it was just an excited pore. The Retin-A was able to push the gunk out of the pore, but there is still a crater surrounding it. So that's why I need to see how deep qualifies as shallow or deep? So I know what kind of treatment I should op for. - Thanks

I am really bothered by the scars I have. Can someone tell me what type of scars they are? And what sort of treatment would help? Thanks
