So rumor has it, that there is a lot of nay saying going on around here about my boy Dr. Neal. Well let me tell you a little about my story to possibly give some of you skeptical's an idea of how this man changed my life.
I must speak very highly of this man, since before I came to his door steps, I was a true and utter mess. My face was red, inflamed, oily, full of acne, shedding skin, blackheads...you name it: I was one greasy bo-hunk as he would say. I came to the guy desperate, depressed, and hopeful since he was the only person I met who listened and understood what I was going through. He diagnosed me with having Seb Dermatitis, and very sensitive skin due to the use of accutane. Besides having fragile skin, I was experiencing serious bouts of intense flushing which was triggered by accutane. This along with my skins condition was so difficult to accept and thought to be impossible to treat UNTIL I met Dr. Neal. Now, I am/was not your typical run of the mill acne case. As I briefly stated, I have serious hyper sensitive skin due to 4 course of accutane Now, I am not gonna lie...I was VERY skeptical like many of you who don't believe that this guy is for real, and to be honest I was skeptical throughout the process. I am a very cautious person, and very sensitive, and it took me a while to believe that this man could actually help me. My misery and frustration is what made me lose hope and not believe in freedom from my issues. But I will tell you on my grave and mothers grave that if it wasn't for this man, I don't know what I would have done...I was suicidal at times...I had no energy to live life. I can't express how appreciative I am for this man. I really can't... This man introduced me to music which has always been in my blood. Pushed me through exercise and lifestyle management planning. Listened and gave me support as a friend, mentor, and brother. This man truly saved my life. Trust me I understand the bad words and negative skeptisism. I was once like you guys. Miserable with skin problems, and angry. It is all unconscious. If I can give any advice to you guys its this. If you have skin problems, he is the go to guy. Hands down. There is NO ONE from what I know, does what he does. NO ONE! I really hope this alters your way of thinking, since some of you may already know me from past posts of me ranting and raving about hating accutane. I don't do this everyday. I am now showing the support that this man deserved for so long. I haven't been of this site for almost a year or so because this board has turned for the worse. Everybodys angry, everybody's got the hot new cure, trying out all these crazy ideas but when have you ever heard them work? If anything these attributed to the downfall of my skins integrity... This is coming from the heart. I can't be more honest with you strangers. Believe me if you want to, or don't...its totally up to you guys. But you guys really gotta stop bashing my man here. You don't know him, and you have no idea of what he is capable of. He deserves the respect, and thats why I wrote this. This dude changed my life. No Joke. I hope you guys will consider him. Hes a true a artist.

If anyone is familiar with post accutane flushing/redness...
I had a terrible experience with it, and have developed broken blood vessels all over my body, primarily my face. I have been told to avoid any kind of Rosacea treatment post accutane, but I was curious if using IPL will eiliminate blood vessels for good? Do they come back? Or no?

I am pretty certain of this, that we do not have rosacea. I have done my snooping around on websites, trying to find the underlying cause or reason to why some of us experience this very uncomfortable side effect of accutane, and why it persists. We all jumped to the conclusion that it must be rosacea that we developed since our faces get red and hot, but just because we flush does not mean we have rosacea. Rosacea is a disorder that usually affects older cases, even though It is known to affect people in the younger years.
My hypothesis on this is that Accutane messes up our immune system, and in response this effects our hormones. Our hormones control everything from our temperature of our body to how we metabolize food. It is known to affect the Immune system, and alter the behavior of our body. Things aren't as balanced as they once were, so the body begins reacting in weird ways, resulting in side effects occurring and persisting. I have talked to many people on this site and off, and gathered a lot of information. Some people say that Rosacea does not run in their family, while others do. Rosacea is genetic, it does not generally appear out of no where when their is no genetic build of it. Plus the flushing in Rosacea, usually doesn't happen on a daily basis, and lasts only for a short time. Flushing for Rosacea can last up to days from what I recall, and the flushing symptoms we experience are not exactly related to Rosacea sufferers. I have heard of people having this go away eventually, while others complain of it persisting for years. I am pretty certain that this feeling is not forever, I just hope to find the reason of it and be able to counter it because it is a very unpleasant side effect. I believe it is much much worse than acne is. Personally, I believe that we need to try to rebalance our hormones. I do not know much on this and I am not certain that I am right here. I may be totally wrong...but this is my opinion, and I am gonna test out all possible ways of tuning up my immune system and re-balancing my hormones. I have a Taiwanese doctor on my side to help me with their eastern remedies, and a few other things to try out. I will let you know if I get anywhere on this, if not well I guess I tried... I really do wish there was more clarification on this. It is so shadowed and believe this is a very uncomfortable side effect of many post accutane users. Here is a site I found of people dealing with this as well. However, these people aren't using accutane... http://www.healthboards.com/boards/archive...hp/t-86978.html

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this as well. I have these little red dots on my forearm that come and go, sometimes they are apparent at any time. They come and go, but they are in a cluster, and seem to trail off...It doesn't itch or burn, but I have noticed this for quite some time, and I am unsure of what it would be...
