ok,
Well I have tried several products myself to try and help my acne. I have tried Zyporex had have very little success. However, Rapid Clear by Neutrogena did help with my oily skin and prevent some breaks outs. Plus its only about 6 dollars compared to other prices ranging from 30 to 100 plus. |

Ok well I searched and searched for any review on the product Bruunhause but couldnt find anything that was not ebay related, so I decided to just buy it and do my own. I just got the stuff today and I must admit that I'm more than a little skeptical due to the lack of information on the product..... but I guess we'll see how it goes. I only applied it to my forehead and Im going to see how that goes, I don't want to put it all over yet, just in case I have a bad reaction too it or it makes me break out. Cross your fingers! Hopefully it works! Hi! I have been searching for somwhere that talked about the results of Bruunhause. I found one site that ranked it at the top of their "Top 10" products. But, because they had a direct link to an ebay site where you could purchase it, I was leary. I hope that you have good results, but would love to hear what you think of it. I am 31 and have been struggling with acne since I was about 22. Why in the heck I got it then after never having it, I dunno. But now, it won't go away! I have tried retin-A, proactive, differin, just about everything on the market. Some stuff works for a little bit, but never really helps. I hope this works!! Please post your results! --Andrea Andrea, your late onset of acne may be linked to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or some other hormone-related disorder. You should do some research on it (see if you have other symptoms) and talk to your doctor about it. PCOS is fairly common...it occurs in 10% of women during their child-bearing years. As for acnexus, I too have tried it and found that it only makes my acne worse. It's very frustrating. No topical product ever seems to work very well. I had a short period of success with an antiseptic skin bleaching cream, but I noticed that my skin was becoming thin after a few months. I think the best way to treat acne is to take herbal supplements and eat a veggie- and fruit-rich diet. Taking a daily dose of a mixture of apple cider vinegar, garlic and honey is extremely effective. You can mix the 3 in a bottle and store it in the fridge or at room temperature (check for recipes online). Also, there is a product called Lipovox that is advertised as a weight loss, acne and anti-aging supplement. I tried it and, although it did not significantly reduce my acne, I did lose weight. I suppose it will work better for others in terms of reducing acne. Another important supplement is glyconutrients. These 8 simple sugars have been found to facilitate intercellular communication and to strengthen the immune system. Some claim they help cure cancer, diabetes, hypertension and other serious diseases. They work well for skin problems as well. Detoxification is also very helpful in treating acne. You can also try taking a saw palmetto supplement. This will help balance and regulate hormones levels. From what I've read, this herb is a phyto-progesterone as well as an anti-androgen, which means that it increases levels of progesterone and blocks the activity of androgens (male hormones, which have been shown to trigger acne). Taking a multi-vitamin is essential to everyone. If you like, you can look for one specifically formulated to improve skin problems. For example, there are several "hair skin and nails" supplements on the market. Has anyone ever tried the "Acne Free in 3 Days" regime? I ordered the book just yesterday and I'm interested to see how well it works. I'll let you'll know what happens. Good luck! |

Hey guys,
Just following up from my last post. Since then I've tried the "Acne Free in 3 Days" regime and, trust me, it does work! The treatment that the book talks about is called an apple fast. You basically eat nothing but apples for 3 days straight (about 10 apples per day). At the end of each of the 3 days, you have to do an enema (an evacuation of the colon). You can have this done prefessionally, or you can do it at home by purchasing an enema kit. If you prefer, you can use a herbal laxative instead, but the enema works better. The idea is that you need to empty your colon before going to bed to prevent the reabsorption of toxins. You can google "apple fast" for more info. At the end of the fast, you will need to replenish the population of probiotics ("good" bateria which aid in digestion) in your intestines. To do this, you will need to take a probiotic supplement, or simply and acidophilus supplement. I definitely recommend that you give this a try. It's fairly hard to resist eating other things, especially on the 2nd day, but it's only for 3 days and it'll be worth it in the end! It is important to note that those with severe acne will not see significant improvement after one fasting period...it will be necessary to repeat the process once a month until your acne is cleared. This is also advised for people who see results after the first try in order to help maintain clear skin. After the 3 days, try to incorporate lots of fruits and veggies into your diet and to significantly reduce or eliminate meat, dairy, sugar, coffee (green tea is a great substitute), pasta, white flour, bread, soda, alcohol and all processed foods. A healthy diet is important to maintain the results. To help you incoporate more fruits and veggies into your diet, one website suggests the following:
For those of you who find it impossible to eat enough fruits and veggies, try taking a green superfood. It's a powder of various vegetables, grains, legumes and probiotics. I recommend the brand "Amazing Grass", although it's a bit more expensive than others. They can be bought at your local supermarket or health food store. If you are willing, you can try a colon cleanse in place of or following the apple fast. There are several ways to go about cleansing the colon, but drinking bentonite and psyllium shakes is the method I recommend. Here are some sites with info on cleansing with p&b shakes: http://www.curezone.com/forums/fm.asp?i=64478 http://www.astrodreamadvisor.com/Body_B&P.html Aloe vera also works great for skin problems. You can apply it topically and/or drink aloe juice. Let me warn you that the juice doesn't taste good, but you only need to drink 2-6 ounces of it and you can mix it with diluted orange juice or any other juice (preferably unsweetened) to mask the flavor. And never forget that exercise is a key in curing any disease! I've suffered with it for at least 6 years, and I agree that it is absolutely detrimental to emotional and psychological well-being. On better days, though, I realize that having acne has not been all bad. For one thing, it has blessed me with humility as well as understanding of human suffering, and has exposed me to a world to which I would have otherwise been blind. But nontheless, acne's cons far outweigh its pros and it is definitely worth fighting...so don't give up! |
