Hey, here's my acne-life story. I'm brielle. I'm twelve and have experiencing acne for about two years. You know, one of those "early birds." Anyway, at 10 years, i had very little acne. Just a few here and there, and they didn't bother me much. Although, 6th grade brought in the bad stuff. The entire year, my forehead would continuously be covered in acne, big zits and small zits, all kinds. Some even had given me little headaches because of the size. I tried proactive, but chemical products only hurt me. After that, I moved to all natural products. Everything my mom found for me I experimented with, whether it was a set of natural bottled products or different mixtures of a variety of food mixtures that were said to work. My acne would somewhat clear, but it wouldn't leave all together. Summer came and my acne cleared probably 90% caused by the sun and less stress. I began 7th grade with very less acne than the year before, and it's been like that ever since. All I have been doing all school year is keeping up with the face washing and simple things like that. Although, I went on vacation to Florida which really cleared my acne, but when I came back to NJ my acne came back, too. At the time, I was presribed to an antibiotic called Dicloxacilln, and something had gone wrong cause by the climate changes and the amount of sun. My mom did some research and came up with the conclusion it was actually this type of fungi, but my dermatologist didn't agree. My mom and I still believe it is the fungi, depending on the symptoms that are listed. As of our discovery of this fungi, this is my daily routine:
Morning (before school):
Afternoon (after school & after dance class):
This routine has helped my "acne" for the most part, so far. If you have any suggestions or criticism on my routine or beliefs, please feel free to share. I'm open to anything at this point. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I also have the curse of chest & back acne. So any suggestions on that subject would be well appreciated as well. I'm sure majority of you know how it feels to have acne, and middle school kids are utterly cruel towards the ones who have it. Therefore, I'm desparate for new ideas that will work and make my acne disappear forever. I am eager to put this all behind me, so please help! Thank you! |
