Accutane induced autoimmune disease

I went to my general doctor today for my chronic eyelid swelling, water retention, and joint pain. He said that I show a marker for autoimmune disease (lupus, crones disease, thyroid ect).

I am going to a specialist for that next week.

Did anyone else get this from accutane?

Can you develop new allergies after taking Accutane?

When I put in my contacts now my eyes get more swollen. I never had this problem before Accutane.

Can accutane cause hypothyroid or hyperthyroid?

Did anyone elses eyelashes fall out while on accutane?

Ive lost most of my eyelashes especially on my left side. Do they grow back? if so how long does it take?

I was on accutane for 2 months and i had to stop because of a corneal ulcer. i weigh 140 and was on 80mg a day.

I have really thick eyelids from accutane that hasnt gone away and its been 3 months since my last dose. I have seen eye doctors and they gave me steroid ointment, antibiodic drops, and allergy drops and nothing has helped.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so what should I do?

my new derm said it might be permanent because I was put on too high of a dose for my weight.


Please tell me is you aare having this same problem and if it might last forever. I am so upset and confused because it is not going away.
