Advice For Healing Recent Red Marks?

Hey I'm wondering if anyone has advice on how to heal very recent red marks from acne while on Accutane?

I've been using toner, Aveeno clear complexion moisturizer, Olay regenerist moisturizer, and Vitamin E, and they're helping but nothing's really healing the red mark.

I know most of this is due to the Accutane slowing the healing process, but if people have advice--I'm all ears!

I will just have to dab on a bit of concealer over the red marks in the meantime...otherwise I'd be too self-conscious to go anywhere :/

I called my derm to ask so if she has any good advice I'll be sure to let you know. I have a feeling she's just going to tell me to keep doing what I'm doing but you never know!

so my derm said almost exactly what I expected--keep doing what I'm doing.

I've been applying moisturizer and then vaseline/aquaphor over that to help heal the red mark and the inflammation. So far, the 2 red marks have gone down in redness and are now just medium pink, but I am still dabbing a couple dots of concealer on them when I go out.

My red marks are not active/cuts but if yours are, ask your derm about applying some neosporin to the mark because it's an antibiotic ointment and protects future bacteria from developing on the skin's surface.

I hope that helps! If you have any other advice, comment below!
