Argan Oil Acne Treatment

Argan oil acne treatment is one of the most effective, natural skin treatments. In the current cosmetic market, there are several acne treatments and most of them produce varying results. Amongst these treatments, argan oil is one of the products that stand out. To fully understand how argan oil works to get rid of acne, it is important to first know how acne develops:

How Acne Develops

The human skin has its own natural oil known as sebum. Sebum is produced by sebaceous glands that are situated under the surface of the skin and are normally attached to the hair follicles. This oil acts as a protective coating that lubricates and waterproofs the hair and skin of an individual, but it also happens to be nourishment for the bacteria that causes acne. The production of too much sebum blocks the pores of the skin. This situation forms the ideal breeding ground for acne-causing bacterium, resulting into the development of acne, blackheads and pimples.

Argan Oil Acne Remedy

Argan oil assists in the regulation of the production of sebum, keeping the bacteria that cause acne at check. It not only lowers the production of sebum, but it also rich in vitamin E and has anti-inflammatory properties which are known to be very effective in the treatment of acne. Vitamin E is the perfect nourishment for the skin as it helps in the repair of damaged tissues and cells. In addition, argan oil eliminates marks and scars from old acne, leaving the skin smooth and spotless. This oil ought to be applied on a regular basis for the affected individual to achieve the desired results. Furthermore, argan oil is also useful in the treatment of eczema.

Argan Oil – Components

Argan oil is obtained from the nuts of the Moroccan argan tree. This oil is rich in carotene and phenolic compounds that provide the antioxidant property. It is also rich in healthy fats (omega 3 and 6), which play a huge role in making the skin look young and supple.

This form of acne treatment also contains Sterolins – these help in keeping the skin’s cell membranes healthy. This compound functions by boosting the skin’s metabolism and reducing inflammation. All these components work hand in hand to provide one of the best natural skin remedies available in the cosmetic industry today.

Getting the Best Product

The nutritional qualities of argan oil obtained directly from the tree are not always the same with the products that are available in the market. If you decide to purchase refined argan oil, its nutritional value would be substantially less than that extracted from the argan tree in Morocco. This is due to the fact that the refining process consists of bleaching and heating which kills most of these active nutrients that make this oil valuable to the skin. A better alternative would be the cold pressed or the totally pure argan oil to take care of this skin condition. Cold pressed option is quite effective because it is subjected to very minimal processing thus their nutritional qualities are not lost.

Products that contain pure argan oil will produce the best results for acne sufferers. As long as it used on a daily basis, the user will experience positive changes on the appearance of their skins and restore the natural glow of their skins.

How to use Argan oil

Before applying this oil, wash your hands thoroughly using mild soap. Using dirty hands will make the oil less effective. Once you are sure that your hands are clean, place two drops of the oil onto your palms and gently massage it on your face. The high penetration power of the oil guarantees that it will be absorbed by the skin almost instantly.

Argan oil should be used twice everyday; in the morning and evening. This way the user can enjoy the full benefits that this oil brings. Under normal circumstances, the acne will heal completely after a 21-day period of application. For some people, it may take up to 2 months for this skin condition to heal properly.

Argan oil for the treatment of acne scars

In some instances, scars may form on the skin after the acne clears away. This leads to skin discoloration and blights the appearance of the skin. Normally, these scars take a very long time before they fade away. Clinical studies have shown that when this oil is used everyday without fail, it eases the occurrence of scars on the skin. This is enabled by Vitamin E and the essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6) contained in it. Provided that the oil is used properly, scars will disappear on the skin after a few weeks.

Benefits of using Argan oil

Argan oil has been clinically proven to be effective in the treatment of acne, as opposed other over the counter remedies. Since it is extracted from natural compounds, it is safe to use and free from side effects.

This oil is affordable and very easy to use. Using it involves a simple application process on the face. It facilitates the balanced production of sebum and the unclogging of the skin’s pores, hence allowing the facial skin stay free from acne naturally.

Having a natural, good-looking skin will boost the confidence of an individual and provide them with an attractive look. The more confidence a person has, the more success they enjoy in their day to day lives; in their careers, social lives and education. This can be only achieved when proper skin care products such as argan oil are used as recommended.

Argain oil is readily available to users. You can make purchases online and have the product delivered at your doorstep.

Conclusion

From the above points, it is easy to see why argan oil is a popular and highly beneficial skin care therapy. Nonetheless, before you decide to use this form of skin treatment, it is advised that you consult a doctor, particularly if you have suffered from acne for long periods of time. Rest assured, argan oil has been medically proven to be safe for everyone to use.

I've been using Pure argan oil as a facial cleanser (to lift makeup from my skin before rinsing it off in the shower), makeup remover and moisturizer for 2 weeks now. My skin has never been so smooth! It has reduced breakouts dramatically but of course I still get 1 here and there but WOW before I started using argan oil I had a constant rough bumpy surface on my face; mainly t zone and hairline areas and would never stop breaking out in whiteheads, and had a combination skin type which was easily irritated. Now my skin surface is smoother, has no more bad breakouts and my skins oil production has been leveled out by the amazing properties of pure argan oil, my skin is far less sensitive and even looks younger!

Don't be scared of putting oil on your face! Argan oil has a rating of 0 for blocking pores so it won't make you break out!  (unless you somehow had an allergic reaction to it or something like that) but its worth a shot!!!!!!!!!! I noticed a major difference after 1 week of using it continuously! Honestly trust me, I always thought the key to make my skin less oily and acne prone was to dry it out with popular top market cleansers for "oily/combination skin types" and whatnot but NO! Oils like argan oil are probably the most effective and non harmful option! Drying your skin out only makes it produce more oil! and irritates the crap out of it (especially for sensitive skin types such as myself) this was the best decision I have ever made in my life... CONFIDENCE is soooo high right now and I just hope this keeps working for me as time goes on and makes my skin even better!
If the oilyness of your skin bugs you try blotting to remove the excess oil from your skin it at the peak of its oilyness for the day which for me is generally around 1-2pm x
I hope this was helpful to anyone!
