Last Thursday [7th June 2012] i started a low residue diet experiment. Based on idea i have imbalance of bacteria in gut - SIBO, dysbiosis, etc. The idea being that i have the wrong type/numbers of bacteria and i am feeding them. I am am not sure what is feeding but as i have problems with starch bloating wise [upper intestinal] and farting with fibre [lower intestinal] i will be trying to limit the amount of residue in my diet as much as possible.
- I had rice pudding both days so really the experiment didnt start until the 9th June [Last Saturday]
Diet so far has been:
Cod liver oil then olive oil.
Eggs, butter, cheese - usually cottage and/or cheddar.
Quark, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract.
Whey protein powder.
Banana milkshake powder.
Observations so far:
First few days continued to have sloppish bowel movements.
Breakouts continued as usual - especially on neck area.
Back is good though.
Scalp better than average.
On Wednesday had weird diarrhea - acidic - may have been caused by drinking too much water though.
Had some sinus pain - rhinitis type shit.
Skin been better last few days.
Felt like shit - maybe from ketosis even though eating sugar etc.
Piss sticks sometimes could be a sign of ketones. - has been smelling for last few weeks though.
